++ UPDATE - DeSean Jackson signed by Redskins
Grateful Parrot replied to fanfootballtn's topic in FFToday Board
No. He's a crypt. Which is blue colors. Signing with the REDskins is a complete opposite. -
I actually feel bad for Schaub. Here's where your career has gotten you. You went from a stud, and now your playing with the Raiders as career spirals down the slope. Think you might want to correct something???

Michael Sam will not play a down of NFL football.
Grateful Parrot replied to tanatastic's topic in FFToday Board
Because you check out their junk if there's another guy with you? I have always showered to get clean and the sweat off. As did my other teammates. Maybe you think there another agenda in the showers? Do I care if it's in gym? No, because I'm not there to check out other guys. -

I'll throw my quick two cents in. I think most here commenting may or may not be talking about 2 different things. Do I believe in Christian GOD, heck yeah. Do I follow the rules of organized religions, yeah, not so much. I do follow the 10 commandments. I would love to see GOD come to earth and start slapping people around saying "I gave you 1 (one) book, how in earth do you have 14000 churches and religions believing different things from the same book??" As one poster said, interpretations. I'll go one step further, those interpretations are made after someone/many have translated the bible. Most of us in the US have no idea what the original writing was. The believe is that GOD had a hand in the translations to English, I'm not sure about that, but I don't know. But all the picketing and politics have more to do with organized religions and their agenda, then maybe just being good Christians and treating people the way they want to be treated. As for the gay athlete. I don't give a crap. That is between him and GOD. I've had bunch of gay friends through the years. I don't care what you do behind the doors (unless it's criminal), just don't hit on me. Most of them understood that and went further to when we went to bars and there was another gay, he would be the one to tell the dude "don't bother with him, he's straight). No problems at all. Tax issues are a whole other deal, I'm not going into that. -
That made me laugh. Nice one.

A rusty Rodgers with 150% better than a healthy Flynn. I would easily take your money.

I know its early but who would you rather keep in a PPR ? Dez or AJ Green
Grateful Parrot replied to snatchit's topic in FFToday Board
As most will say. AJ. He will be the more consistent option. You will get a big game from Dez, but he's a headcase..has TO written all over him. Not the kind of risk I would take. But that's just me. -
Nah, Cutler suck (I'm a Packers shareholder), He's one dimensional. That being said. Also as a Titan fan who lives in Nashville, we welcome him to take over for Locker. We need his arm strength and wisdom.

This. It's never been about the money in our league, it's about smack 12 months long. Loser this..Lose that..Dumbass coach...Dumbass draft...it's all about the smack.

The Official "I faced Jamaal Charles and won" thread
Grateful Parrot replied to Shakey210's topic in FFToday Board
I'm close to pulling this out. Thanks to the team I'm playing against basically getting close to null points from Graham, Cooper and White. Obviously, in keeping with most here, I started Foles, Lacy, Seattle D, and surprisingly getting a nice number from Kendall Wright since I had to bench Welker. -
Playoffs this week and next; is Rodgers dropable?
Grateful Parrot replied to pk9999's topic in FFToday Board
WTF..do you play in a 2 team league? Foles shouldn't be available anywhere. GOD, I wish I was in your league. -
What is the worst team collapse you've seen this year?
Grateful Parrot replied to futurecub07's topic in FFToday Board
As one of the above posters stated. I dominated most of the year with my Rodgers pick, also got Nelson late and Lacy damn near the end of the draft. When Rodgers went down, wasn't that big of issue, because I had Foles as a backup. The problem lies with the Nelson, Lacy have tanked the past 4 weeks, and couple that with Welker not finding the endzone the past 4 weeks has made my team just awful. I'm still 3rd seed in the playoffs, but unless Rodgers comes back this week, I don't think I'm going far in the playoffs. -
Official Week 13 F.U. Thread.........buy one get one half off.
Grateful Parrot replied to Filthy Fernadez's topic in FFToday Board
Fock you to the GB coaching staff who thought Flynn was a viable backup option. Dude has been cut by two teams and you think he's good? And a big fock you to me, who keeps starting Lacy and Nelson, hoping things will turn around. Nope, 11 in the box the rest of the season. D!cktards. -
The OFFICIAL "I had Gordon or Jeffrey and I Still Lost" Thread
Grateful Parrot replied to BigMilk's topic in FFToday Board
I had Jeffrey, other team had Gordon, but sadly I also had Jordy and Welker. I lost big time. My Nelson and Lacy have tanked 3 weeks in a row. Fock me and Rodgers collarbone. -
Week 12 BYE QBs - What are you doing?
Grateful Parrot replied to SaintsInDome2006's topic in FFToday Board
This will make you laugh. Rodgers owner, and I'm rolling with Tolzien. I'm hoping for a double point TD to Jordy. Might work, might not, but I'm playing the worst team in my money league. -
Right there with ya.

Official Week 10 F.U. Thread: The airing of greivances begins...
Grateful Parrot replied to Filthy Fernadez's topic in FFToday Board
Have to go with Dolphins defense. If your wheren' so freaking bad, Bucs might have passed more, giving me at least 38yds for Wright. But NOOOOO, You have to suck SSSOOOO bad, that Glennon didn't need to throw at all. FU Dolphins and YOUR Shitty ASS Locker room. -
Jordy Nelson's value with Arod out?
Grateful Parrot replied to FakeFoozballIzFun's topic in FFToday Board
That's what this board has evolved. Internet egos that fight that have nothing to do with this thread other than patting yourselves on back because your the best internet person. -
I can't believe the amount of panic there is out there. There's been no indication at all that Rodgers would be out for the season. From Rodgers mouth, he says he's a quick healer and hopes to be back soon. He ran off the field after the injury and came back in street clothes unbraced. If it were season ending injury, the doctors would have put him in a sling or immobilize it somehow. At worst, I think he'll be back during the FF playoff weeks. I can use the Rodgers/Nelson 1 2 punch during that time. Plus, if GB tanks any more games, then there zero chance McCarthy would sit him if they are in the hunt for the playoff bid. Seems like a wait and see to me.

A.Rodgers has a small fracture in his collarbone
Grateful Parrot replied to p.man's topic in FFToday Board
This. No timetable. We'll just have to wait and see. Speaking on his Tuesday radio show, Aaron Rodgers confirmed he has a broken collarbone, and declined to speculate on his return date. Advice: "It's a difficult injury because there's not a specific type of rehab," Rodgers said. "Holding out hope this will be a quick heal, but this is a significant injury." Rodgers revealed he actually tried to re-enter Monday's game, but that the pain was too severe. Despite terming his injury as significant, Rodgers is optimistic he can get back soon. "I feel like I've been a quick healer in the past. Hopefully this will be on the short end." The best we can tell, Rodgers will be sidelined at least the next three weeks, and is 50-50, at best, for Green Bay's Thanksgiving trip to Detroit. -
He's doing a Golf Channel reality show now.

NFL may consider negating touchdowns for taunting penalties...
Grateful Parrot replied to posty's topic in FFToday Board
He touched on this briefly. If your going to make a rule and flag for taunting for a TD, then you would also flag for taunting during first downs..after you make a sack and dance like a fool..and so forth. If you don't want taunting, then remove it all, not just during a TD run. -
Good posting. Exactly. I picked him up, but only for bye week fill in. Do I think he will perform like Jordy or Welker, HELL NO, wasn't looking for that. But, he's a very good WR3 and come playoffs, when others are resting, he will still be playing, I need those points.
