After being alerted by Voltaire of Mahan Day's devious plot, Blitzen shows up on his moose at Mahan Day's house and punches his dad in front of his family, then gives his mom a shocker, but not before buying some sweet little African jewelry.

Billy's mom hears him whimpering in his sleep and wakes him up. Billy tells her he just had the weirdest dream where his life story was being written out on a lightly traficked internet football forum. The idea was spawned by a pedophile who saved people during 9/11. Billy's mother slaps him across the face to try to finally wake him up. Alas, Billy is awake but has lost his mind.

Just saw it with my son. Tons of cliches, not exactly Oscar winning acting but it was decent summer fare. Liked it more than IM3 and as far as monster movies go, it's much better than Cloverfield, although I realize that isn't saying much. Don't go in with major expectations and you'll be entertained. I'd go 6-7 out of 10. Pretty sure though that if Michael Bay had made it, it would get panned but since Del Toro made it, it's getting better reviews.

It's like the Transformers meet Godzilla.

Yep....but a cop actually stopped me because I was speeding with 30 dozen roses in a 81 Prelude. But he figured I was making a delivery to a florist and just told me to slow down instead of ticketing me. He was wrong - I was growing roses for research then and bringing a bunch home to my family.

When in elementary school, we went on a mountain hiking trip during late Fall/Winter and I slipped on an ice patch and started sliding down a slope and if I hadn't reacted quickly enough, to grab hold of a rocky outcrop, I would have fallen off a cliff about 100-150 feet. I was once ticketed in Toronto for speeding while carrying 30 dozen long stem roses in a 81 Prelude. Despite being an unabashed carnivore at the time, I once gave a series of vegetarian cooking lessons to a bunch of housewives and single wimmin in the late 80s to help a friend out.
