Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that the Dallas Cowboys have traded linebacker Akin Ayodele and tight end Anthony Fasano to the Miami Dolphins. Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Cowboys will receive a fourth-round pick in exchange for the two players. Ayodele was signed as a free agent from the Jaguars in 2006. His role became uncertain after the Cowboys signed veteran Zach Thomas. Philly & Jacksonville both interested in trading for Jason Taylor. Rumor in NY today saying Michael Strahan is contemplating retirement. If that happens the Giants could send the #31 overall pick to the Dolpins for JT. All we need now is the Redskins to enter the bidding war. If everything stays as is I hope the Dolphins take Dan Conner, LB, Penn State with the 1st pick in the 2nd rd.

Assistant director of pro scouting Brian Gaine, in his third season with the Cowboys, left the team to join the Miami Dolphins’ scouting department. Ronnie Brown had the most yards from scrimmage before he got injured. It's been reported that he has already started a running program. One of the only bright spots for the Dolphins this year was the play of their offensive line. Vernon Carey at LT and C Satele (who they got in the 2nd rd for the Welker pick) had good years. Not sure how much of that can be attributed to Cameron - who I believe will be fired by Friday. Parcells just brought in Jeff Ireland from the Cowboys as GM. With the first pick in the draft (if they don't trade down) will be a defensive player IMO. The entire defense needs to be rebuilt. Stopping the run will be a high priority.

The Dolphins desperately need to have a few good drafts and rebuild. I've been a fan since 1980. I can't think of a better person for that job than Bill Parcells. I can see him keeping Mueller around but I'm not so sure about Cameron. Which leads to the question who will be the next HC? Does he go after Jason Garrret? Dallas fans: Is Parcells responsible for turining around the franchise and drafting the players that are there now?
