    Bobby Rainey

1.9 yds a carry, in line with what DET has been doing to RBs lately. As a Rainey owner I am encouraged that the touches didn't dry up. However, CAR/BUF/SF/STL is a tough road.

    TE Issues-Cameron Owners

CBS Fantasy News says that Pitta is looking for the go ahead to play this week. If he can get in 2 weeks of game action before the fantasy playoffs he could end up making an impact. Pit/Det/NE for the playoffs isn't great, but the guy was pretty sought after coming into the year. I am in a 14-teamer with Jordan Cameron as my only TE and I just dropped Keenum for him. Edit: Rotoworld says week 14....so one of them is not right.

    Bobby Rainey

Over the last 4 games Miami has allowed 120 carries/589 yds (4.9ypc)/5 TD to NE/CIN/TB/SD backs. Ridley/Gio/Rainey/Mike James and Ry Mathews each averaged more than 5ypc in that time. I hope Rainey is legit, he could be this years version of 2010 Jamaal Charles/Jerome Harrison out of nowhere RB that has a big playoff impact, but I am tempering my expectations until I see some more.

    Bobby Rainey

I had him in my flex for wk12 but just benched for Boykin. Detroit run D last 5: 92 carries, 231 yds (2.5 ypc), 0 TD. Faced some bad RBs over that time (Cleveland, Dallas without Demarco), but Forte/Gio/Le'veon were all held in check. The silver lining is they have given up 2 receiving TDs to RB (Ogbonnaya and Will Johnson) and Le'veon and Ogbonnaya each went over 50yds receiving. Forte was held to 4-16 and Gio held to 5-32 receiving. The long run to a RB in those 92 carries was 13 yards by Le'veon, though Travis Benjamin did break off a 45 yarder. In the CLE game, Rainey had 1 carry for 0 yds over that span, not that it matters. I would love to start him coming off that huge game on my bench, but I don't think this is a very good matchup. Looks like anything Rainey gets will need to be through the air.
  5. I kept them. Planned this stretch a couple weeks ahead and added Arizona. They have Houston this week for KC's bye (seemed better before Keenum looked legit and Schaub was an auto pick 6), then they have Jax and Philly during the Denver weeks. Tough to waste the extra bench spot, but KC could be a difference maker in the playoffs against Oakland and a Washington team that lets RG3 take a lot of hits.

    Matthew Stafford?

I am in a 14 team keeper league, with a pretty strong squad. My biggest weakness is QB, where RG3 is killing me and its a pretty qb heavy league(6 point passing td, bonus at 300, 400, 500 yds). Would people here trade RG3+Andre Brown for Matthew Stafford? My RBs would still be Charles, McCoy, Forte....bye weeks coming up for Charles and McCoy so I would plug Flex with a Ruben Randle type instead of Andre Brown. The trade would also hurt my depth in case of an injury to an RB.

    Drop Kenbrell Thompkins?

http://jatarto.blogspot.com/2013/09/kenbrell-thompkins.html A very interesting breakdown of Thompkins game vs the Jets. I don't have him in any league, but if I did I would hold for at least another week, unless you really liked someone on waivers.
  8. The fact that they held Dallas to 2.3 ypc the previous week says as much or more about the Eagles offense as it does KCs defense. 496 total yards allowed to Dallas and Jax combined. 431 yards allowed to Philly. KC has good talent on defense and had gotten good results through two games. The Eagles made what appeared to be a good defense look bad. My point is that the Philly offense as been working, and I stand by that.
  9. KC is a good D. The Eagles rushed for 260 yards. On 28 carries. 9.3 YPC. This was a short week, so the Eagles players had less time to recover. We know Vick is turnover prone, he always has been and he had a bad night throwing last night. 5 turnovers will kill any offense. The offense was never going to be as good as it looked in the first half vs WAS, but I still think so far it is working fine as long as Vick can do better protecting the football. Oregon was 69th in passing yards, 4th in rushing yards in 2012. 55th is passing, 1st in rushing in 2011. Its a rushing offense.

Big Trade Question - Trying to get McCoy

I have McCoy, and there is 0% chance I would trade him and my TE for Graham and Demarco. I love Graham for the advantage he gives over the average starter at his position, but McCoy looks like the clear #2 RB to AP. Your scoring also adds to Mccoys value, since he is more likely to have receiving TDs/70 yds receiving than Murray. Newton is also likely to get some 70 yd rushing bonuses. Stafford and Newton are probably about a wash, but Newton was most likely drafted higher and the other owner could view Newton to Stafford as a downgrade. If the other guy takes it, great for you. But I think the offer is short.

Tavon Austin looks to really become a weapon

The yards per target is concerning, but keep in mind that Tyrann Mathieu blatantly pass interfered on Austin's only deep target in week 1 resulting in a 38 yard penalty. It looked as if Tavon had a step and without the penalty (Mathieu pretty much just wrapped him up while the ball was in the air) he just needed to catch the ball to have a 70 yard TD.

Talk about come from behind ...

12 TDs against you on Thursday night is a tough pill to swallow. Good luck bro.

    TY Hilton or Thompkins

I go TY I think. Thompkins should be a nice surprise this year, but I think his ceiling this year is what Hilton did last year (850/7) and Hilton should be in line to take a nice step forward this year.

    Rate my Team

I just got done a 10 team draft, no PPR, 6 point passing TD, 5 point bonus for 100 rush/rec and 300 pass: QB - Romo RB - Spiller RB - McCoy WR - VJax WR - Colston Flex - David Wilson TE - Finley Bench: Bowe Garcon Hilton G. Bernard L. Bell Vick J. Cameron I feel like I did good - especially with the three RB - but WR/TE/QB all seem a bit below average for a 10 team league? I never do 10 team, so not really sure how to judge it. Should I try to package a couple WR for a higher tier WR?
  15. I would do it. I like Charles better than Rice this year, but Amendola and Ridley are both upgrades. I like Vereen, but don't want to be starting him in a 10 team league.
