  1. I'm sure you were informed that AP's ACL was going to be better than ever due to your fervent prayers. Thus I'm sure you took him top 5 last year. We godless folk were slightly scared off and picked him 19th in an average 12 team league according to FF Calculator. Not crazy for him to fall a few more spots and get teamed up with Foster.

sorry that you lost out ..just do more home work

  2. I am tempted in my 12 teamer if he is there mid 3rd round. New coaching staff, going back to the power running game, only play maker on the team so will get a lot of touches, contract year. I think going back to his running style it may help him with his injuries, plus I bet he has been getting conditioned extra hard this off season

    very good pick

  3.

Yeah, cause no way a team could get the #1 pick and then get AP on the 2/3 turn coming off a bad ACL. Yeah, that could never happen. Sure.

    Hindsight is always 20/20.

    And thanks Frozen. Good input!

  4. In a PPR keeper league (keeping M.Lynch, R.Rice & Jimmy Graham) who would choose out of these four RBs for your 3RB/ Flex?

    David Wilson

    Le'Veon Bell

    Lamar Miller

    Shane Vareen

Leaning Le'Veon Bell because I keep reading about his pass catching skills but I hate gambling on a rookie. On the other hand, the other 3 really don't have an extensive resume either. I feel like its a roll of the dice with whoever I choose.

    Any feedback/ advise appreciated.

i think wilson has the higher upside imo

  5. In a full keeper league meaning we keep every player. it's for a five year minimum which rb is worth more?

    MJD or Lamar Miller.

One is proven but may not have a lot left the other is young but may not be as good as MJD.

    Which would you rather have.

i still like mjd at this time over l miller ..but keep watching and see of course what happens during the preseason

  6. I would think the way keepers are supposed to work that if, for example, a team drafted Doug Martin in the 5th round last year and chose him as their one keeper, they would then forfeit their 5th round pick this year.

It seems, and I haven't gotten confirmation yet, that ESPN assigns any keeper, regardless of round picked, a 1st round grade and you forfeit that first round pick this year. In this scenario, for example, if you picked say Romo in the 6th and choice him as your keeper, you'd forfeit the same first round pick as the team that kept Martin.

ESPN goes on to say that any team that does not choose to have a keeper, retains their first round pick. If then, for example, 9 of 10 teams in the league choose to keep a keeper and one those team chose both Foster (in the first) and AP in, say, the second last year, they could only keep one and so this one team that was so crappy as to not want a keeper would get Foster in the first by default.

This seems odd. Should keepers not be assigned the draft value of where they were drafted last year?

And also, what value do you assign a player that was not drafted that you want to keep, say A Morris?

if the same team was able to draft both foster and peterson back to picks ..i would say that was a one team league amen

  7. Ive got the 12th in a non ppr and im in the same boat.....

I think what im doing is having a "bottom line RB" that im not taking a worse rb than #____...otherwise im going CJ, DEZ, AJ..some combo of the 2.

So if Morris is my last rb rankings wise i dont want to go below and hes there...im going MOrris and lets say...Dez. If hes not....then two WR.

    ok

  8. .. tell ya what, FFtder's ... i see Charles primed for a Faulk/Holmes/LT-esque campaign. the hell with 'who's number 2' .... i take Jamaal at ONE and never look back. you can have AP after i snag the '13 NFL/Fantasy MVP.

    I AM NEWPOSTERGUY!!!

    and there you go

  9. QB

Andrew Luck -- for some reason the Heir Apparent to the Peyton/Brady era can't get even top 12 love in most drafts. The guy is a LOCK for 4K and 25 yet people are taking Wilson, a gimpy RGIII, and others before him.

Eli Manning - All he does is have solid years and just like every year grossly under rated.

Michael Vick -- Rumors of his FF stock death have been greatly exaggerated. With that offense if healthy (assuming he stays) he will be a STEAL!

    RB

Stevan Ridley - Well the Pats can only run MORE now and he did pretty damn last year when given a chance. At a 4th round value he could be a hell of a steal.

Ahman Bradshaw - On a good offense and for 3 years has been pretty dman good when on the field. at a 6-7th round price tag - not bad

Ryan Mathews - Yeah he sucked last year but the kid has talent and is still the bell cow on a decent offense. Currently a 5th rounder

    WR

Torrey Smith - The only true WR Flacco has to throw to and still very Young and a burner. If he has the "3rd year" breakout he might be a top 10 Monster at a 6-7th rund price tag.

Kenny Britt -- Everyone has seemed to have forgotten about this guy -- immense talent - little brain. But He had last year to get a little straight and now he should be able to start coming into his own. Can be had as low as a 7-8 rounder.

Desean Jackson -- Isn't that old and still has blazing speed in an offense now that should showcase it. Comes at a 7-8th round value.

    TE

Dennis Pitta -- I really think he might end up a top 3 TE this year and he isn't being taken until the 7th TE off the board.

Jake Ballard - Undrafted right now who should at least be a star table TE

i thought it was the three best buys..how come there are only two te ?

  10. Non-PPR. Looking for some strategies. Have the 10 spot then the 15 spot on the way back.

Double RB-- Alfred Morris and Steven Jackson?

Or double WR-- AJ Green and Dez Bryant on the flip?

    One RB and one WR?

Open to any suggestions/strategies. Thanks in advance.

i bet that you only get a shot at two of the four .when the 15 spot comes back all four will be gone imo

  11. I know this year it seems you need to protect one of the top RB's... in fact it makes since to grab 2 in the first 3 rounds. The reason for this is because there are so many teams that have not established their starter. Teams that didn't have one and now have drafted and traded for one, which makes true number ones thin... this year. Keep in mind that a lot of teams are going RBBC, usually a scat back and a goal line guy. Next year I believe starting RB's will be deep. I am in a 12 team ppr 2 keeper and decided to keep AJ Green and Dez... my plan is to grab 4 RB's with upside after that and get a Stafford or Romo type in the 7th. Next year with the depth at RB I can keep AJ and Dez again and have plenty to pick from in rounds 3 on down. I just have to hope that 2 of my 1st 4 RB's hit this year

and what if you don't make it until next season ..? then you just wasted your last season .
