Bryce Brown looked pretty good last week. Probably under the radar because he had a fumble on a carry of over 10 yards inside the red zone that he fumbled at the goal line. He was used as a pass catcher and had some decent runs as well. When Jackson comes back I expect Dixon to be phased out or have the least number of carries among the three, with Brown leading the way. The Bills should win this game, but they should have won last week as well and just couldn't get it done inside the red zone. I thought the defense did a great job of getting to Smith and giving the offense a plethora of chances to score, but whether it was the play-calling or just a lack of accuracy, Orton just couldn't get it done. I'm a Bills fan so I hope this week is different.

Who has more value the rest of the way? Bryant or Moncrief? I was thinking it might be Bryant because 1) Moncrief started in place of Wayne in one game, which was a total shootout. He could end up being pushed back in the depth chart if Wayne returns as far as WR4. 2) Bryant looks like the WR2 over Wheaton right now and has been targeted (and converted) in the red zone the last two games. BUT 1) Moncrief has the bigger BOOM appeal due to raw talent. 2) Colts have the better QB and better offense. Is there a clear better option here or is it more or less a flip?

I can't really use him on my team, but I figured he'd get some looks, especially with it being a heavy bye week.
-
Ryan Mathews anyone? He's on the WW in my league and is slated to return this week.

Fellow Montee Ball Owners.....let's have a chat.

Finally dropped him earlier this week. Moving on. -
San Diego's offense is really balanced. I traded Allen this week and his first TD of the season coming right after I traded him doesn't really bother me.
-
Would you start him over either Sankey or Lacy this week? That's kind of my predicament.

Yeah that was an impressive play that should have been a first and now they're punting instead. Oh well. -

Exactly this. -
Been holding him all year for an opportunity like this. Kept him over CP, Jordan Matthews, Terrance West and Carlos Hyde so far. I will be playing him in my flex and after last week's failure to use him with a big lead will be expecting him to have at least another 10 carries. This is the week he makes or breaks imo.

this is ridiculous.. another game that is over before half time. jets vs patriots next week is bound to be "great."

Really hope this injury is short term like the first time around. Guess we'll find out soon. -

I just proposed the trade. I was ecstatic when it was accepted. Lucky that didn't last long. -

I just picked up Austin Davis for this week. I only had two going into today. It's Brees bye week afterall. Forgive me if I don't like Cousins on the road vs Arizona. -

I just got a deal done to get this guy 4 hours ago. It was Ryan and Cooks for Brees and Green. Wow. -
I picked up Hillman off the WW and I'm holding onto Ball for now. I'm lucky and don't have to play a Denver RB other than in Week 9 though unless one of my starters gets hurt.
-
Who would you rather have the ROW? Davis or Cousins? I feel like it's almost a coin flip at this point, but maybe Cousins gets the edge because he has a little more experience, has a better offense and some more "proven" weapons. I also think Cousin's matchups are more favourable.

Ok. So as my sig says I'm in a 12 team league. It's supposed to be a casual league where a bunch of people who know each other engage in some healthy competition. Some of the players do not know much about football and this is their first time in a league. Now I'm going to give you a summary of what has been going on and you guys tell me if this isn't shady/fishy AND/OR just plain wrong. Team Owner A - League Commissioner (3-1) Team Owner B (2-2) and not in the same division as A (first timer) Team Owner C (0-4) and not in same division as A (first timer) Recent League Activity Sep 30 10:16 PM (By LM) Team B traded Bengals D/ST, Cin to Team A Team A traded Eddie Royal, SD to Team B Sep 30 9:51 PM Team B dropped Justin Hunter, Ten to W Sep 30 9:50 PM Team B dropped Kirk Cousins, Wsh to W Sep 30 9:47 PM Trade Accepted Team B traded Bengals D/ST, Cin to Team A Team A traded Eddie Royal, SD to Team B I find it very odd that Team B completed two drops without an add (an obvious mistake only a first timer makes) and figure they are going to be making claims on the waiver wire tonight. That's all well and good, but then I have a discussion with Team Owner C.who is first on the waiver order and she mentions to me that Team Owner A told her who to claim this week to "help her out." Turns out Team A told Team C to claim: 1) RB CAR Darrin Reaves & 2) Chicago Bears D/ST This just seems absurd to me. Why suggest a running back who is more than likely a one week play, who is probably 4th on the depth chart and THEN on top of that play that team's opposing defense. That's right, Carolina is playing Chicago this week. Team Owner C didn't realize this nor does she know a helluva a lot about football or how these things work and is just desperate for a win, so she listened to him and put the claims in. I told her what I think is really going on and she cancelled the claims. I don't feel I'm crazy to assume that as a part of the trade that was made, Team A said that he would help Team B with a waiver claim to even out the trade and ensure that Team C didn't get that player. How plausible do you think all of this is? I just can't believe this is going on with people I know and they would potentially stoop to this level. Is this crossing the line? I feel like this is as dirty as it gets. I think I'm ready to boycott the league and just wanted to know what any of you would do. Team Owner A is the commissioner.
-
There's 4 in this one. Anyway, what would you do if you were me?
-
You'd think they were, but they're not. The commissioner has a side bet with someone else in the league that if he loses to him, he has to do something really absurd and I think that might be part of the reason why he's playing so dirty. The $ in the prize pool isn't really significant.
-
He's had pretty productive numbers so far this season, but his struggles away from home are a concern, Atlanta's offensive line is really banged up and I'm thinking this may be a great time to sell him high. Anyone else?
-
Does Bishop Sankey qualify? Might get more snaps than Greene if the Titans want to actually win a game and they play a weak CLE run defense. He got a TD last game though, so don't know if he qualifies.
-
I'm thinking about going after Brees for him. Matt Ryan and Eddie Lacy for Drew Brees and Frank Gore. Lateral Move?
-
The sucky part about being in a "casual" league is that no one really looks to make any deals. It is a paid league but the "I'm just going to ride out my team for better or for worse" attitude, even with teams that are 1-3 or 0-4 is relatively consistent. Whereas I'm always trying to make improvements after every week, most of the owners in my league are complacent and some have already accepted defeat. So how do I spark "trade talk" with presumably uninspired or unmotivated owners?
