I'm not a real doctor, I only play one on fantasy message boards. Or maybe Chris Johnson is a physical freak and can handle the workload. But how many times have we talked about smaller backs (like CJ) not being able to be workhorse guys because of their size? He's racking up a LOT of carries lately. That's all I'm saying.

I've been thinking about this a bit. The Titans better be careful about overusing Johnson (insert joke here). That many carries on that small frame can't be helping. A more squat guy like Rice could handle it better maybe, I wouldn't be shocked if Johnson broke down or wore out late. I'd be upset too, cause I own him in one of my leagues.

I think every team is required to get one primetime game, aren't they? MNF is now clearly the second-class citizen to SNF, so the really crappy teams likely are getting their token game on MNF now. Now, if they get a second game on TNF, THAT'S just inexcusable.

Couple of weeks ago or so, I gave up the following to get him in a 12-teamer where we keep 7, non-PPR (going to .5 PPR next year) with typical scoring for the most part: Steven Jackson Mike Sims-Walker 2010 1st Round Pick 2011 Pick that is higher the better I finish Lots of guys in my league think I got a steal. I didn't think it was that bad, myself. It's a sample size of one, so take it with the appropriate grain of salt.

At least it started well. Last night I was in a draft where guy with the first pick announces "Minnesota" and I was waiting for him to follow with "Running Back Adrian Peterson." But he didn't. Yes, 1.01 was actually the Minnesota D/ST. I would have walked out if I wasn't in the middle of a beer.

There's enough places where O&A Pests fight with Howard fans on the Internet. Please don't turn this thread into one of them.

If you're deciding, I grabbed Bowe last week off of the wire when both he and Roddy White were available. Then this week I was also able to nab White. I don't know what that says about what folks in my league think of them, but at least from my standpoint, I valued Bowe more than White initially. This is also a keeper league that's adding a WR starting spot next year, so that was a bit of a factor as I liked Bowe's pedigree.

I owned Taylor back then. I own Jackson now. I've had a groin injury playing Ultimate Frisbee, a sport with some similar motions, at least from a cutting standpoint. The thing lingered for months. Now, these guys have better medical access than I do, of course, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if Jackson didn't come back until after the STL bye.

We used it last year, and it worked pretty well for us. You can definitely set times to pick, though I'm not sure what consequences you can set up. We had ours set up NFL-style in that if your time ran out, the next guy could "run to the podium" and get in front of you, aka the Minnesota Vikings Treatment.
