Floyd or Jones, toss a coin.

Joe Haden, a prime reason the Browns secondary has been tough on WRs, is out this week. So Sid Rice should benefit from that, although you have to consider the QB situation is also up in the air. Personally, I don't see a huge difference between Whitehurst and Tavaris. With VJax, I think another thing to consider is that the Jets run D is suspect and the Chargers have been very good on the ground. I think you are going to see the Chargers poung the rock with Mathews and Tolbert all day. Seeing Reggie Bush get outside on them last week makes me thing that will be the gameplan. So why take the chance and force anything in Revis's direction? Just my two cents.

I think he will be a #2 back this year at best and will split time with Peterson. If you believe the hype surrounding Garrett Wolfe, that kid is going to be involved too as a change of pace back. I think Cedric will get the TD's of course so that could make him a solid #2. I am not taking him in round 2 though, no way. He's got a lot to prove before I can pass on something more proven.

Ras, ESPN ticker just showed 7 years 49 million. It's a done deal! First links on it, right now: http://blogs.tampabay.com/bucs/2007/03/steinbach_signs.html http://rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines.aspx?sport=NFL

Bly to the Broncos; Bell, Foster to Lions

That would be my guess, but I bet they trade down to 5-7 and take Quinn there. -
this stupid thug should have ended up dead by now, not a kid like darrent williams.
-
yeah, he's out for 2007 too. career threatening at this point. browns have THE worst injury luck. calvin johnson is tempting, but they could possibly trade down a couple spots, draft peterson, and pick up an additional early pick or 2 to spend on the o-line.

Manning restructures contract to help Colts

A.) you did state this won't help the team sign free agents. it's right there in plain type for everyone to read. you even said there is nothing to be gained by it, everybody does this, and he deserves no recognition for it. nice try. B.) the team can restructure his deal again, and he has shown he is willing to help them. this in your mind made you compare payton manning to randy moss in a weak attempt at degrading manning. C.) you are obsessed with manning, not i, which is why you will find any post lauding anything positive he does and attempt to urinate on it. what you fail to realize is this degrades YOU though, not manning. -

You just contradicted yourself genius. You say it won't help the team sign free agents, then admit the team is doing it to work around the salary cap so they can do just that. It's OK to be a Manning hater, I'll just disregard everything you post about him as biased hatred. -
Manning restructures contract to help Colts

He did what the club asked him to do. It doesn't make him a Saint, just a guy who understands what he needs to do to help keep his team among the elite right now. Not everybody agrees to restructure their deal and defer money. -
i was in the same league with warren and the deadbeat commish. he left out the worst part about all this. on the day the commish finally came in to supposedly pay up (he still contracted for us after he was laid off) he only gave out $50 each to the winners while still owing them $350...but then he asked us all if we wanted to go out drinking later that night since it was his last day here. so he didn't have the money to pay the winners, but he had it to go boozing. not that this was his money anyways. it wasn't like he lost his job and people were asking for him to give his money. it was never money he was supposed to spend in the first place. also, he had over 2 weeks since the fantasy season ended to pay up before he even lost his job. oh, and he was all over a couple owners for not paying their money immediately after the league was formed and before we drafted. he threatened to shut down one of the owner's teams if he didn't pay up before our draft, and that is the guy that ended up winning. so he acted like a ###### to get everyone's money, and now that it's time to payout to the winners he disappears.

With Free Agency and the Draft I still come here in the offseason. Hey, I'm a Browns fan, and at no time during the year do Browns fans have more hope than in the offseason.

Would Marvin Harrison be HOF bound if He played for another team ?
beantownbrown replied to The Moz's topic in FFToday Board
Manning made Brandon Stokley a 1000 yard 10 TD receiver. The notion that Manning is only good because he has had superior talent around him is a joke. Until Reggie Wayne eventually was drafted and developed, Harrison was his only reliable WR and was double covered constantly. He made Marcus Pollard a Pro Bowl TE, what's he been since he left? Guys step into the Colts offense and produce because of Manning. That said, Manning and Harrison are both great players. Just like Rice and Montana were. You can't take anything away from them because they played with each other. They are the #1 QB to WR duo of all time already, with more years ahead of them still. To act like only one is great is a joke. If that were the case, they wouldn't be going down in history together. -
No, it makes George Seifert a better coach than any of them.
