Hardcore 32-tm, IDP, ppr, contract dynasty needs replacements
Four More Beers posted a topic in Find A League, Fill A League
Hardcore Homers Fantasy League needs replacement owners for a few teams. MFL pages is here: http://www26.myfantasyleague.com/2013/home/34897#0 This is a 32-team league with 38-man rosters and 19-man starting lineups. It's an IDP league with DT and CB separate from DE and S. The league has contracts, a salary cap, cap penalties for cutting players under contract, IR, and a practice squad. The league conducts a month-long free agency period in the spring as well as a 6-round rookie draft. During the season there is one blind-bidding waiver session per week. The 'Homers' part refers to each franchise being named for an actual NFL franchise and requiring at least 8/38 roster spots to be used for players from that team. The team will also play the schedule of it's NFL counterpart including having a bye the same week. This gives 'homer' players the advantage of not needing bye weeks covered. Note that in order to play a full 16-game schedule we do play double-headers in weeks where no NFL teams have byes. Another reason it's a 'Homer' league is that we try to match owners with their favorite NFL team whenever possible. The league uses team positions for QB, K, and P (yes punters!). While this does take away the thrill of having a Colin Kaepernick stashed on your bench it does avoid teams getting stuck with no scoring players at those positions. The lineups are highly flexible for the other positions on both offense and defense. League fees are $50/yr. We do require owners stay paid for 1 year in advance, so buying in is $100 total (2013 and 2014). When an owner decides to leave, he will receive a refund for the upcoming season when we find a paying replacement for his team. The league's full constitution can be found here: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/314656-hardcore-homers-constitution/ As of now, the following teams are available: league full please pm me or post here if interested -
This Biotch Needs To Eat A Samich And Shut The Hell Up

I don't get it. A wife asking her friends and family for support for her husband in a private email is bulletin board material? Even the public Brady quote is pretty tame. -
I think you need to cut down on the smoking. Charles was top-12 last year despite not starting half the year. Yeah, it's so weird that they did that when most teams are only carrying one running back these days. A second RB? Go figure. They drafted McCluster as a WR.

He got a taste of SEC competition and ran away as fast as he could.

Wah, wah, wah, my RB only had 145 yards and 1 TD. He killed my team by only scoring 20 fantasy points. Boo hoo, why doesn't he carry my whole lousy team by himself?

Anyone consider Jaguars a good play this week?

Look at the time I posted that and then look at what I said a few posts up. -

The Giants are a STUD defense! You have to play them against the Saints! -
The blond is a butterface.

I think most of the complaints about this are coming from her own end of the political spectrum.

I definitely take the Panthers against Tampa before Jax. Carolina is in much better shape than they were earlier in the season from a health perspective. I really don't think the Giants are unbenchable against the Saints. They haven't played a good offense yet and the only average one (Dallas) scored 31 against New York. -
I watched a lot of his game Sunday and I thought Williams looked extremely tentative, especially compared to Stewart. As someone that drafted Williams in every league I could it was very depressing. If he doesn't improve I can easily see Stewart getting more than 50% as the season progresses.

He was blocking quite a bit.

I suspect the Titans will go very run-heavy and attempt to dominate possession like the 'Fins did. I very seriously doubt they'll let Collins put it up 40+ times. When they are forced to pass they will struggle a lot more against the Colts pass-rush than they did against the Jags last week. '

No losers? Everyone gets a ribbon? What about Derek Anderson or the Browns offense in general? I know it seems like they didn't have much to lose, but hope is something.
