Thanks for the replies all. We've settled on Cancun although exactly which resort we'll be at is still unknown. Any advice on where to go out in Cancun? I want to go to Coco Bongo for sure but other than that I don't know anywhere.

This summer I am going to be taking a trip with my wife(36c) and another couple. We want to go to Mexico and while the other couple has experience with Cancun I have never been. We definitely want to be on the Gulf side. I've never done the all-inclusive thing but I've heard it's the way to go. I am thinking about staying in one of these resorts: http://www.secretsresorts.com/capri/index.asp http://www.palaceresorts.com/Resorts/BeachPalace/Index.asp http://www.palaceresorts.com/Resorts/CancunPalace/Index.asp Any advice or tips you can give would be great. Also, we're not locked into those resorts but those are the front runners from my little bit of searching (done this morning while trying to work). Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Any advice as to different resorts? That Secrets resort was in Xcaret not in Cancun and I think I would really like that but I wasn't sure about the area. The couple going with us has always stayed at the Palace resorts and they've loved it so I'm thinking those are the front runners. Anyone ever stayed at a Secrets or Palace resort before?

They're dumb (and Peyton as an actor he is not) but he's raised a lot of awareness for his Troy Tackles More foundation that does a lot of good. More power to him.

I heard Kevin Harlan (the guy that announced the game) on the radio on Tuesday. He said that Brooking took a very cheap shot at Berrian on the drive before (Elbow to the throat) that wasn't seen on TV and the refs missed it. He said he thought that was the motivation for the last minute TD. But he also said it was bush league and that type of play doesn't belong in the NFL.

I've got a lot of the same ones listed above. Wallet/closet/even numbers for TV and radio volume/TP etc. I do count my steps but I start over every time I get to 8. And then I count sets of 8 steps. Except for stairs. I count the stairs and memorize the number. I could probably tell you the number of stairs in every building that I've lived or worked in since I was a teenager. Also, if I am eating something like M&Ms I have to eat two of the same color at a time. One on each side of the mouth. If I have say, 3 blue ones and 3 red ones I eat 2 of each and throw the extras away. When I chew something, I count to 8. I'll never stop until I finish my set of 8 even if I am ready to swallow before 8. While I am eating, my unused utensils have to be in an exact spot and facing the same direction. If I am at a restaurant, the salt/pepper/whatever else is on the table have to be arranged so that they are at the edge of the table on the left side of the table. If we are seated against a wall, the wall is on my left. My wife thinks these are all wonderful things to mess with me. She will purposefully give me 3 blue M&M's and races to my seat at a restaurant. If I turn my head, my fork/knife get turned. If she doesn't knock it off, I'm gonna have to start counting strokes in the sack and finish at 8!

When I was in the Air Force I had a kid that worked with me sign mine and my buddies email addresses and phone numbers up in one of those "win this car" things at a mall. He had already used his info but wanted more entries. Once we found out we signed him up for a Penthouse subscription but had it delivered to the group headquarters. It had to go through three different secretaries in interoffice mail to get to him. The look on his face when the first one came was priceless.

Anybody have the nads to start Harrison next week....
Kanil replied to stonewall's topic in FFToday Board
Ronnie Brown and Michael Turner turning into huge vajayjays is hurting me. I managed to scrape my way into the championship game and my RB options now are: Michael Bush (vs CLE) Caddy (vs NO) Harrison (vs OAK) I think I have to go with Harrison. -
I'd say about 1.5 yards/carry. Maybe I catch 3 passes for 12 yards total. 33 rushing... 12 receiving... only probably 4 fumbles but I may get 1 or 2 tackles on the dlineman that stole the ball from me (that is if I could catch him... I'm slooooooow).

It sucks that it had to come down to this but this is the answer. -
It's a toss up between Zombieland and Inglourious Basterds for me. Two completely different types of movies so it's hard to compare but I loved both of these. Star Trek was really cool and very well done also.

Avoided this thread because I was behind a few episodes. Watched the last 4 episodes last night. WHOA!

I'd fistpump and then jog over to the sideline. No way in hell I'd give the ball to the refs.

If you like the Cirque show and have the $$$ to spend on another, go see Le Reve at the Wynn. It's not a Cirque show technically but it was made by a bunch of disgruntled ex-Cirque folks and is great. MGM Sportsbook is my favorite. As is their poker room (conveniently right next to each other.) If you play at the MGM, make sure you join their players program. $1/hour played in comps and there is a little fast food-ish type deli right next to the poker room that makes great sandwiches cheaply. If your asking for betting advice. Mortgage the house and put it all on the Broncos this weekend! I have tried Craftsteak in the MGM and Mon Abi Gabe (french style steakhouse) in the Paris. Both are excellent but I prefer Craftsteak. Besides what has been posted so far, the Bellagio has a cool garden set up inside of the hotel. They theme it differently at different times of the year. Every time I go with the wife we stop by there and check it out. I have to admit it's pretty cool. Good luck. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.

I've never traded anything and have never even looked into it so I think I'm at a distinct disadvantage. The only investment I've ever had is a mutual fund I started when I was 18 years old and in the military. I'm starting to learn and use some of the tools on the website. I probably wont pass you up for another week or so!

You are by 7k+... Kilroy will need to move into your basement at his current pace.

Walt Weiss and Patrick Roy both were great. Weiss was in line behind my brother and I at a Gart Sports one day. He was buying the biggest dumbbells I have ever seen (at least that's how I remember it... I was 16 at the time and that was a while ago). He was the favorite player of my mother who was pretty sick and going through chemo treatments at the time and he wrote her a little get well note and signed it. She framed it and still has it hanging on her wall to this day. Roy's son played hockey in a league with my cousin. There was a common area between two rinks at the arena where they all played and he would sign autographs for anyone that wanted one before and after the games. I remember one night after the Avalanche beat the Redwings in a playoff game he came to watch his son play. It was kind of a surreal experience seeing him on TV 3 hours prior and then chatting with him while we were waiting for the kids to come out of the locker room. My other cousin did some contract work on Valerie Kaminskies (sp?) house when he lived here. He said the guy "drank like a fish, smoked like a chimney and cussed like a sailor." When I was real young my grandparents owned a restaurant where Dan Reeves would host a dinner the night after a charity golf tournament he had every year. I have lots of autographed pictures but I don't remember meeting anyone other than Steve Atwater who told me to keep up the good work when I told him I played safety for my peewee team. I've never had a bad experience with any famous athlete.

In my dynasty league my RB's (CJ, MJD, SJax) beat my opponent's whole team. It's been a good year!
