A few guys from "nowhere" QB: Josh Johnson: been in this league a while, but has always has had quite a bit of potential. Lead NCAAs in passing efficiency under Harbaugh at San Diego, and 49ers haven't exactly shown a ton of confidence in Smith. I wouldn't be shocked if he beats out Kaep and Smith in camp and has a solid year. RB: Mario Fannin: Ran the fastest 40 of all rookies last season, looked really good in camp, and then landed on IR. Whispers that he will have a large role this season in Denver. McGahee is 31 and I would be shocked if he carried the load all season like last year. Moreno has been a bust. Look out if Denver doesn't take a RB early. WR: David Gettis: Looked good as a rookie, then tore his ACL in his second season. Has prototypical size/speed. Cam Newton in progressing, Steve Smith had a career year but is aging and has been injured in the past. LaFell is solid but is more of a possession WR, IMHO. Newton can sling it deep. WR: Golden Tate: Seattle finally has a decent QB in Flynn, and Tate is a post-hype sleeper entering the "magic" 3rd year in the league. Has probably the best hands in the league and improved down the stretch last season. He'll have a starting opportunity this season aside the oft-injured Sidney Rice. TE: Rob Housler: Kolb loves utilizing TEs, and Housler has the speed to be a difference-maker in the middle, which should be open with Fitz roaming the outside. Behind the aging Heap and the blocking specialist King, Housler could perform this year. TE: Martellus Bennett: Always has had a ton of potential, but was stuck behind a future HOF in Dallas and has had immaturity problems. Goes to a team with more discipline/structure than perhaps any in the NFL, along with a widely respected TE coach. Eli can utilize TEs, but hasn't had a consitent option there since Shockey left.

All charges are misdemeanors in Alabama. Even if found guilty, with no criminal record, he is probably not even facing jail time.

Evan Moore looks like he can be a real weapon for McCoy. Should put up decent numbers. Very Pennington-like.

This year: Looks will be harder to come by when Players (Jackson, Floyd, Gates) return Next year: Vincent Jackson likely gone, Naanee is a FA, Floyd is getting older, Buster Davis will be gone. I see him starting next year, with a ton of upside with Rivers... Definite immediate pick-up in dynastys

It's sad that such a good player can't stay healthy, especially for a team and fan base that's so hungry for a winning season. God must hate the Detroit Lione Just when it looked like they might be on the rebound Sunday's game may have been the lowest of lows yet

Not on the waiver list for Tuesday. Could be waived officially by tomorrow, but it hasn't been confirmed. Moss not yet told by Coach Childress Could management be possibly thinking about getting rid of Chilly instead?

yeah! to great defense

Morris need to get over whatever misplaced sense of loyalty he has to Cadillac Williams and start feeding Blount the rock. It's painfully obvious who the best RB is in Tampa.

17 carries in the first half. BUT, Gerhart got some for a series

Same bums that picked off Cutler 4 times last week?

Best Quarterback in the NFC North? Discuss...

I wait on this info to see what's true and what's not. The Dallas Clark info seems legit, but not sure on Collie and Addai. Blair White might be worth a flier though. Like him much better than Gonzo... If Clark is out, we'll see a lot more 3 and 4 WR sets from INDY

Dude is a definition of a boom or bust. Beat out Maclin at Mizzou, as mentioned above. Talent to be a top 5 FF WR, but a HUGE injury risk. 4 knee surgeries is not a good sign. Given the state of STL's WR corps., the opportunity is there. Danario will play if healthy. Bradford is a stud in the making. Last I heard, he's still overcoming atrophy in the muscles surrounding his knees. He's has somewhat of a slight build, skinny legs, but runs like a gazelle. Like Vince Young in a way, it doesn't look like he's trying hard but is actually blazing fast. 6'5" and ran a 4.5 40yd dash. If Danario stays healthy, I expect him to explode. Big if though... A definite must-add in dynasty leagues.
