Every year there is some guy that comes in here that tries to make a name for himself and to "show these guys who's boss". Axe Elf, etc. Internet personas grow old when it's all an act.

Calm down everyone....Bart is still here.

You think Bart hangs out with Axe Elf? -
All depends on who I self mock and see come back around in the 2nd and 3rd. If I take him 4th-5th, who is still left on the wrap.

Standard scoring, no PPR. 1qb/2rb/2wr/1te/1k/1d Psych. Bored and thought I'd get an early start on these threads since you know they are coming soon, fast and furious, sigh.

Funny, that guy who was asking about keeping Calvin vs Trent...you're welcome.

Yep, those tards drive me nuts.

Who is this yokel?

Not even a hard decision. How often do elite WR's get hurt? How about RBs? Who have longer careers?

Dan Marino Randy Moss

Harvin can move the chains but if I (the Vikings) could get Wallace for a cheaper I would take him to open up the field for AP and Rudolph. Assuming Ponder's arm can keep up with Wallace.
-
Vikings could use a vet WR, that would be nice, injuries risk and all.

Wait what? I thought everyone won their league every year in this place. You must be on the wrong bored.

Due to Conference and Divisions a 5-8 team is making playoffs while an 8-5 misses the boat
mgs316 replied to jkil22's topic in FFToday Board
CBS Sportsline has the power poll which is actually a pretty good indicator of performance. 3 measures: Record, Total Points, and breakdown (how you compared to all the other teams on a week by week basis.) Add the totals of these three and that is your Power ranking. -
I know some people do it but not sure how the points are assigned. I know some go 12 points for #1 in weekly points, 11 for #2 and so on. How do you score the wins? So basically you could earn points for weekly scoring ranking and a win on a weekly basis.

Actually never thought about that. 1-8 seed like you said. Regular seaosn first place wins like 800 bucks or something so no one complains. -
How do you pull rotisserie scoring out of that? I'll explain slow for you: People complain about being the highest scoring team and not making the playoffs due to head to head luck. As an alternative to straight forward h2h scoring, you earn 12 points if you are the highest scoring team that week, 11 points for second, so on each week. You also get points for a win in your head to head matchup. Your weekly total would be total points ranking (1 to 12) plus points for your head to head win. Obviously you cannot give only 1 point for a win because that makes the h2h results worthless. So I was wondering if people use this type of system and how they score the win totals. I thought I read about it on here but maybe not.

Rodgers, Brady, Brees (won regular season) are all in playoffs in my league. I'd have to look at the rest.

Top Three Quarterbacks in the NFL right now?
mgs316 replied to knuckleballah22's topic in FFToday Board
For one season, this season, I'd probably take Manning, Brady, Rodgers. Brees is out for throwing a few more picks. All time: I kind of look at it like: If I was going to start a franchise with a QB, who do I take. Manning and Brady are the all decade QB's and your first two picks. Then pick someone out out of Brees, Rodgers, Eli, Rapist are the next group. Going forward: Rodgers, Luck, and no clue. -

12 teams, 8 make playoffs. Top 6 make it on record. Last 2 make it on points. So if a team is 8-5 with 700 points and another team is 5-8 with 800 points, the second team wins. - Seems the most equitable for the whole league. - Keeps teams playing and submitting lineups even if they ar 2-8. - We've had many teams be top 3 in scoring and have a losing record every year, sucked. -
AP + Vick, might need to throw it 5 times a game. Unless Ponder plays lights out in the next few weeks, the Vikes need to start looking at options. Nice to waste the career of the best RB of all-time.

No he didn't. This is a discussion about real FF leagues.

Foster AP Martin Rice Richardson Elite QB's Spiller Lynch McCoy..depends on the coach. Dunno...

MN league so a bunch of Vikings homers and AP went #6 overall. I laughed my butt off at my buddy for doing that. D'oh. You all realize he's staring down 2k right about now. He gets 2000 and he's the defacto greatest that ever lived. I hope the guy was trolling when he said late 1st or early second round. I my league I'd still take Foster #1, AP #2, then the mix of Martin, Richardson then the elite QB's, then the rest of the RB's.
