Just for the record none of the CMA boys are ever going to walk from this league. So let's never even attempt to argue that again. So when making examples, don't say the Freak trading future cap dollars is worse than if someone with a full roster left. If you want to argue pick out some that might hypothetically leave this league, because none of the boys I know will ever walk from a challenge! I hope and pray that others who hear me, respect what I am saying here. I am not lashing out at the The Chandler, this guy didn't mean to make a point that I might leave, I realize that, he was pointing out the lesser of two evils and I agree as Bad dude does, with his point, just not using me as a reference of a punk a$$ fool that might walk after doing a monster deal. the fReak

    Vote on rule change

I propose we extend the starting lineups submittal. So many players are becoming game time decisions it is getting ridiculous. Even if we reserve just one roster spot for a game time decision it would help most of us make the best informed decision possible. The proposal is allow rosters to be posted at least one hour before that players game time. If you are late, than that player may not start for you. Example, if you have 4 players starting Monday night, you have until Monday one prior to game time to decide which of those 4 players you are going to start. The advantage is putting out the best team with all the information, versus taking an unnecessary gamble. the fReak

    Vote on rule change

Granted take our bias away for this season and implement this rule for the coming seasons....would you consider it right or even fair to have someone lose the division and finish the league in the hall of fame with most points? The only reason this is not in affect, is mainly because, people feel it won't happen, but it could and might very easily. It would be a shame to keep the best team out of the playoffs and money, based on poor matchups and bad losses. This is the only league that penalizes the team with the most points.

    Vote on rule change

Another rule to possibly change? What matters most, wins or divisional wins, or total points? I think points should be the most important stat next to total wins and losses. Does anyone else see something inherently wrong with that?
  14. I checked the rosters, and J-bob and Scott are good. They dropped players traded after they were traded and each roster is correct. Slut Bun now has- Griese Green Miller Faulk Dunn Jamel White Holt O. Gary Joey Galloway Marty Booker Jabbar Gaffney S. Sharpe Feely Pitt Ravens D Billy Miller (in signing Billy Miller they dropped newly acquired Darrell Jackson) Beach- McNair Fiedler Edge E. George Bettis James Jackson McCardell Gadsden Keyshawn Johnson Chris Chambers Ed McCaffery Randy McMichael Mike Vanderjagt Miami D FA Ricky Williams II (dropped newly acquired Pittman) FA Cris Carter (dropped Kyle Brady) both teams have complete rosters and were managed correctly. I am posting this, as I thought some mistakes were made, but Darrell Jackson was dropped, not James Jackson, even if he were it would have been an oversight and nothing to cause alarm anyway.

results and rosters will be up tonight.

That thread was hysterical. Drobeski and Ray Lewis Limo Driver are always on this site. Those guys are a trip. You got some quality advice though. I am glad the results are done and very glad I still won despite myself. I wish I still had Todd Heap! And I am very glad I didn't get Ricky Williams....

    Week 9 Results

Tough to put that L on DW- A few key plays early were dropped balls and ricochets that became interceptions. I mean, you had the first game back for Chris Chambers, after his concussion, the first game in a year for Cris Carter, and McMichael has year to date never faced such fast linebackers. They had to play catch up so Ricky wasn't a factor. DW does however, try to put that NFC central system on a team, that could actually have a fast break offense, with the tools they posess now, in McMichael and Chambers. No matter is coaching they are losing, and I do feel your pain brother. I would love to have a healthy starting running back, even if just for looks. The sad thing is we are still tied for first in what might be the worst division in football. Closely resembling another division in this league. the FReak

    S. H. looks like you got me-

Wow. 11 pts from Ricky Williams. The Packers have one nasty defense. Talk about dodging a bullet. Green Bay scores 30.9 to come out of nowhere and make it a rout. Who knew?
  18. So far 86.9 to 76.4- I have Bulger-Cortez-GB D against Ricky Williams- I just hope I make it interesting to watch the Green Bay game. Bennett went nuts and the new TE just lost his job. Oh well! T. Henry is for sale, if anyone wants a back for the rest of the way. Send me future cap money. the freak-

Cap room trade rule...PLEASE RESPOND ASAP.

I vote for. We already rectified this situation by changing the way we trade. Anyone can challenge a trade on any grounds they wish. So why get rid of something if we can always rule against it? For fear of that player leaving and not facing the music? That is crap. Someone could sign 16 players to multi year deals and then leave.....wouldn't that be worse? Think through this issue before you vote. This of course, is the libertarian in me. I wish for nothing to be censored on any grounds. Free speech, free press, free trading of future cap room. If you must, get the money up front. I would like to auction M. Harrison to the highest bidder- whoever offers the most cap room for next year can have him. Why shouldn't this be legal? Harrison could put someone over the top this season, but hinder them greatly next. Plus, it would improve my chances for next season as this season may be lost. Why not give me that opportunity? Let's say for argument sake one needs to leverage a season to be competitive. It happens all the time in the real world. They call it re-building. What if Martin had Shaun Alexander, and Priest Holmes signed for a $1 for 7 years? He would be tough to beat. This hasn't happened yet, but teams are getting more and more savvy. Crawgators, has the makings, with Barlow and Portis, and soon someone will simply dominate under the given guidelines. I would gladly see the big picture and give away all that I have of value, for future returns in hopes of winning a later battle. My fear is people are ignoring the possibility of enterprise and the rewards to those that risk it. If you want, I would offer pre-paying for all future seasons in which future cap money is involved. If the only issue is trusting whether or not a guy will be around to pay up then check yourself, because I know the boys from CMA are full of honor, and after dealing with Scott E. and Scott H, Jacob D, and David K. these guys are too full of integrity once you get to know them. I know that most of us in this league are standup guys. The new guys- Crawgators- are rather intelligent and can only be stand up guys as they have denied every offer I have attempted there way. I give you one last argument. What is worse? Me trading cap dollars and leaving or The Chandler leaivng? Guy has 2 spots for $71 on his roster. Is someone supposed to buy in if he leaves or does the roster go back to the free agent pool? Didn't those 14 players affect us all? I think the fear of guys leaving should affect us more than just trading future cap dollars. Your vote sets the groundwork for this league and many more. And don't forget, any TRADE, ANY TRADE, can be challenged. Shouldn't this be enough to police future dealings? the fReak [ 11-04-2002: Message edited by: Superfreaks ]

    S. H. looks like you got me-

Here is my breakdown- For you- Bledsoe 19.3 (I missed the bonus of over 300 yds on the first update) Duce 7.8 Ricky Peerless 24.8 Moulds 11.8 Lewis 5.3 Akers 13.6 Philly D 10 pts- (I missed the bonus of 5 extra points for keeping the bears to 13 on my first update) For me Bulger 17.8 Henry 9.5 (regretting this trade already) Zereoue 25.3 Moss 8.9 Harrison 30.9 (11 catches = 13 pts, plus he has a 2pt. conversion) Davis 1.8 (again regretting this trade) Cortez 11 GB D- 105.2 for me and 92.6 for you. 12.6 lead- I need a big day out of me defense which is not as likely as a big day for you Ricky Williams. Bitter defeat ahead. I lost 25.8 points net by doing that trade and I am afraid it will keep me out of the playoffs. I might not ever trade again, too much trouble involved in it anyway. the fReak [ 11-04-2002: Message edited by: Superfreaks ]

    S. H. looks like you got me-

I have it Freaks 105.2 to 86.9- Being up 18.3 doesn't look like enough, with Ricky Williams slated to start. I just hope the Green Bay can score a TD for me, to get a shady Win for the week. Good luck either Scott- at least Monday is worth watching- PS- Randy Moss is available- and he is cheap- just future cap money for the future. the fREak
