That must be it. Since this is an auction I am mostly on the draft report tab using the drop-downs to select the player nominated and then the values populate for me from that. I can then enter the winning bid value and use the drop-down for the winning team. I haven't tried On-Live, does it work better with the buddy?

Hi, I don't do any of the updates using CloudOn via my ipad. I do all the updates and setup with my PC and then save the file to dropbox. Once everything is ready for the draft, I then use my ipad at the draft. It worked last year and seemed to work fine when I tested it this year. Everything updated on the buddy that I entered it on the ipad.

I just tried to do some mocking with CloudOn and it worked fine. I do make sure I have everything setup and the latest updates done before the draft and save it from my PC to dropbox. Then I can open the updated file from the ipad at the actual draft. I am able to enter auction selections, value drafted for, winning bid team, etc .... all data seems update throughout buddy. Summary, Offense, Rosters all show the data entered through the auction report. Not sure what else you need buddy to do on draft day, but it seems to work for me.

I used my ipad last year for my auction draft and it worked great. Here are the steps I used to make it work. I used 2 apps, Dropbox and CloudOn, both were free last year and I think they still are. First I setup the draft buddy the way I wanted to make it easier to navigate around during the draft. I change the zoom on some of the screens to make it a little bigger and easier to see, and switched the screen tabs order around on the bottom with the tabs I switch between to make them next to each other. After I had the buddy all setup I saved it to drop box, now I can access it through CloudOn on my ipad. Start the CloudOn app open the buddy spreadsheet from dropbox and you are good to go. You do still need to be connected to the internet so the spreadsheet can continue to update to CloudOn, but I did not have any bandwidth problems during the draft. One other thing I did use was a bluetooth keyboard. Using the keyboard keeps the onscreen keyboard from popping up, letting you see the whole screen, plus it was easier to enter the auction values during the draft. I am going to give it another shot this year, hopefully it will work as well.

That did the trick! Knew it was something easy I was just overlooking. I will play around with the cheatsheets in a few days. Thanks!!

I am getting the ##### for some of my cells. I am pretty sure it is that the cell is not large enough to display the value, the salary cap for this keeper league is $2000 so some of the star players salaries get over $1000 once adjusted for inflation. Also, just putting the $2000 cap in the rules section gives me the ##### for that value. Not as worried about that as it seems to be calculating the auction values for the players correctly and has the right value for the team caps on the summary page. Anyway, just wondering if there is an easy way to adjust the cell size to show me the inflated values? Along the same lines, is there an easy way to change the cheat sheets font to something larger and easier to see? or is it best to just highlight the column and change the font that way? Thanks, Mac

Got it, Thanks Mike. I kept it on one page but upped the font as much as possible. It cuts a few letters off the player names but I know who they are. Hopefully the ipad will make it through, fingers crossed. Mac

Hi, Anyone know how to print the Draft Buddy out the best to use as a hard copy cheatsheet? I am going to try to use my ipad for my draft but want a hard copy in case the ipad fails. Thanks, Mac

Thanks! That was it, knew it was something easy just couldn't remember where.

Hi Mike, I have an auction league with a $2000 cap. The problem I am getting is that with this large a number the cells that calculate anything to do with the cap are not large enough to hold the value and give me the #### for the number. Is there a way I can set the buddy cells to auto size for the value? Thanks, Mac

I have gotten CloudOn working now also. What I am doing is using a stylus which helps with the precision needed to hit the drop down arrows. I also am using a little bluetooth keyboard (I had for when I need to do actual work on the iPad), this eliminates the annoying onscreen keyboard that always pops up in CouldOn allowing for full screen viewing. I then rearranged the Buddy tabs so all the tabs I use the most during a draft are next to each other, for easier/quicker switching around the screens. It has worked well with my home and work WiFi. I am going to test it with my hotspot as I will probably be at a remote location for my auction draft. Hopefully all will be good with the weaker internet connection. Mac

Hi Mike, I am trying to find a work around for using my iPad also. I have something that looks promising but have not had a chance to test it very much yet. Anyway, you might want to take a look and see if it works. I am using dropbox on my PC and iPad, then putting the draft buddy file into dropbox. On the iPad I am using Cloudon and it allows me to pull up the buddy file in excel and make changes. Only problem is using the drop down arrows is a little tough with a finger. I am going to try out a stylus and see if I can get some better control, if so this might work. Mac

Hi, Anyone know an easy way to pull out the data created by draft buddy into a cheatsheet? I am in a auction keeper league and would like to be able to bring the player values created by draft buddy with the inflation numbers to my draft, but will not have my PC so need to print them on paper. Thanks, Michael

Thanks Mike, That did it, wow that was easy!!!
