Taysom's back, Carr is still out, and the Saints are looking for a spark. I'm feeling another big week for Hill. He's total boom or bust from week to week, be it this week feels like a boom week. He has the potential to be thrown in under center to throw a TD, he could catch a TD from the actual TE slot, or we might see him poach some goal line carries from Kamara like he did in week 4. Anyone else rolling out Hill today?

Not as splashy as the other trade announcements, but some potential interest to this one. Does this say anything about the Vikings' confidence in Chandler? At the end of last season it looked like this might be Chandler's backfield until they signed Jones. Now that Jones is injured it looked like it would be Chandler's chance to shine, but does this dampen that? Was he brought in as insurance move in case Chandler gets hurt, or to compete for the starting role?

Gotta wonder what this may mean for Hill. I could see more trick plays with him throwing and such while Carr is sidelined.

I've got Burrow and Higgins going up against Chase. I need Burrows to focus on Higgins now that he's back.
-
FU Dallas Defence, and against NO too!

Depends on your WR depth. Long term I think Higgins is the better player to roster as the clear #2 target in his team (when healthy) with a better QB. JSN is a muddied 3rd with Geno Smith. If you have room to park him, I would take Higgins.

I've got Higgins and Burrow. -
Awesome, thanks Mike. That works great!

Does anyone use Projection Pal? I've been using DB since 2007 and for the first time I've been trying to import other stats to see how it looks. Here's what I've done... - Downloaded Projection Pal (step 1 ) - Launched it and allowed all the things like enabling macros, etc - Entered the Draft Buddy file name that I want it to reference (Step 2) - Left Draft Buddy section as Site B (Step 3) - Went to "QB Raw" tab. (Step 4) This comes prepopulated with an example of https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/projections/qb.php?week=draft which checks out as a valid page - When I click on "New Query" or "Refresh Data" tabs, all seems good. Projections update nicely here. I've tested by deleting a bunch of data and it repopulates when I refresh. - Confirmed that the column titles match the data in each column (Step 5) - Confirmed the rows are correct (eg rows 3 - 75 for QB) and only have Projections selected (Step 6) Everything according to the instructions and the queries from the site are obviously working. BUT .. when I when I click on "Copy to Draft Buddy" it doesn't populate the data. It chugs away for a bit, launches the specified Draft Buddy file, goes to the position tab, highlights the Site B section, then ... nothing. It gets like 90% of the way there, but it doesn't populate any data. I've tried for QB, RB and WR. All do the same thing. Am I missing something?

I guess the follow up question, if this works, are there other recommended sites that Projection Pal can pull from. Fantasy Pros is a good starting point. Any others that it's compatible with?

4 keeper format, non-PPR. I've got my mind set on the first 3 (Tyreek @ 2, James Cook @ 8 and Dell @ 17), just need to figure out the last one. I've got it down to the following... - Joe Burrow @ 4. If he was going to be worth, say, a 6th or later this would be the slam dunk choice. This feels early compared to his ADP, but to be considered is that by the time everyone keeps 4 players the remaining players could go up to 4 rounds earlier than standard ADP. - Ty Chandler @ 9. I was high on him at the end of the season but Minni bringing in Aaron Jones killed that. Could we be looking at a committee? Will Jones last the season? So much risk/reward here. - Jake Ferguson @ 9. Not really much better than ADP. If we assume that Laporta and Kelce are kept there's still going to be a lot of TE's ahead of Ferguson available. The question is where.
-
Interesting. Can you elaborate as to why you'd pick Ferguson?

10 team non PPR league. Play 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR and 1 flex. Up to 40 players off the board right from the start due to keepers. The slam dunk / no brainer Tyreek Hill @ round 2. He's a given, so really it's just 3 of the following 5... The guys I really like, but early picks Tee Higgins @ round 3. (Am I being blinded as a life-long Bengals fan finally seeing success?) Joe Burrow @ round 5. Starting with a top tier QB and not having to worry about a backup until later means some comfort for that position. Guys I'm not as high on, but the value is pretty sweet Rachaad White @ round 13. Late pick, but that O line looks horrible and game script will probably call for heavy passing when they get behind. Tyler Lockett @ round 14. Was last year an illusion? Can we really trust Geno Smith? The guy I'm really on the fence on James Cook @ round 9. I kept waiting for the Bills to pick up one of the veteran free agent RBs, but still nothing. Does this mean they have faith in Cook? I want to start with at least 1 RB and I'm leaning towards Cook but could be swayed over to White at his value. Originally I was looking at Hall @ round 4 but the Dalvin signing killed that.

Thanks for the input guys! One comment re: getting Higgins in round 3 or 4, with the draft starting with 40 players already off the board, players tend to go earlier than their ADP in the earlier rounds. Chances are he won't make it out of the 2nd round. And to the question about scoring, QB TD = 6 points, so Burrows @ 5 really does make sense. I've yet to come up with a combination I like that doesn't include him. I think my biggest waffling now is between Cook @ 9 and White @ 13. Grabbing White 4 rounds later is tempting, but I really don't have much faith in that Bucs offence this year. I think I have to stick with Cook.

Keep Chase. We don't know what the Stevenson/Elliot timeshare is going to look like yet, so it's hard to predict his value. You know what you have in Chase.
-
Another vote for accepting that trade. I'd take Kupp in round 2 over Kelce in round 1 in a keeper league.
-
I'll echo Walker. Mattison doesn't hit me as a true starter. I'm surprised Minni hasn't brought in one of the free agent veterans. ...yet.
-
Chubb and Allen are the obvious first two. I don't see any way you don't keep those two given there's no cost to them. That 3rd one is a bit harder. I see the arguments for Hock and Pitts, but I just wouldn't be able to bring myself to keep a TE not named Kelce over a decent starting WR or RB. I think #3 for me would be Walker.

I would have said Hall a few days ago, but the Dalvin signing throws that out the window. Gotta go with Mattison.
