    Is Leshoure For Sure

That's a fair statement, but AP just came back from a DEVASTATING knee injury only 8 months after it occurred. These guys aren't like you and me. They have something different in them that helped them get to where they are today. I'm not saying the injury won't affect him, but he is young and spent over a year rehabbing the injury. With modern medicine today I wouldn't be surprised if he hardly misses a step.

    No NFL Network

Agreed. Most Sundays you can see 3-4 NFL games. As long as you have internet and an antenna you can watch almost every weekend. I was without cable for 3-4 months and absolutely loved it. I had Netflix, HBOGo and the public library to keep me entertained. Instead of $100 to sit and surf through crap I had to know what I wanted to watch. Otherwise I did something more productive!

    Mikel Leshoure

Completely agree. I drafted him late hoping that he makes a splash with Detroit at some point this year. Worth the risk IMO at this point in the season.

    Leshoure

Drafted him and am patiently waiting to see how he will be used in that offense. I would have no problem dropping Goodson for him. I'd hold on to Williams for another few weeks.

    Dexter McCluster?

Would you drop Mike Williams (TB) for McCluster?

    MJD and ADP

That's why I never set my lineup based on analysts' opinions. I drafted MJD with the 12th overall pick in the 1st round and didn't start him today. I started Michael Bush in my flex position and went with S. Greene and Sproles. He will definitely be inserted into my starting lineup next week.

    Michael Bush

This will really be the first time Forte and the Bears will have a viable second option at running back. I know that Forte signed that new deal, but that shouldn't deter the Bears from going towards a more balanced attack at RB. It's worked for a lot of times and has proven to help keep the featured back fresh throughout the season. We'll start seeing more of this throughout the NFL in places like BUF, KC & CAR. I could see Forte getting the bulk of the carry with Bush getting the call inside the 20. For an overall game day total, I see 10-13 carries per game with Bush. I have absolutely no issues going with Bush at the Flex position especially in PPR leagues.

    Tate / Foster...

I never sit my stars. You live and die by them. Why not start both if you are confident with Tate this week?

    Saint's WR's

Picked up Moore last year down the stretch and he helped me win a championship. Great compliment to the talent in Nola. I'd actually love to have him on my team this year.

    Who gambled and drafted MJD?

Currently in a ppr keeper league with about 28 guys being kept. Obviously all of the top names are gone except for those who were essentially "free agents" this year. Those included were A. Rodgers, Rice, Andre Johnson, Jamaal Charles, etc. Our draft was Friday night and with the 12th pick I took MJD not knowing the magnitude of my gamble. I passed on guys like Bradshaw, Charles, Roddy White, Nicks, etc. Right now I couldn't be more happy with the value I got in the first four rounds. I took MJD, Jimmy Graham, Dez Bryant and Shonn Greene. Let's rejoice in taking a gamble on MJD and who did you pass on to draft him?

    J. Rodgers this year's D. Sproles

Jacquizz Rodgers seems to be taking a similar path as Darren Sproles did a year ago. Their ADP is nearly equal (I got Sproles in the 10th last year and Rodgers in the 11th this year). According to Mike Singer of CBSSports.com (via Cory Mandina of OregonLive.com), “It's clear that new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter will utilize Rodgers in a completely different manner than he was used last season. ... The Falcons plan to use Rodgers rolling out of the backfield on screens as a contrast to pounding RB Michael Turner.” Now, I know many of you will think that Rodgers won't be much of a factor as long as Turner is ahead of him. Well the same could be said about Sproles a year ago. The Saints just drafted a 1st round running back in Ingram and had a solid, reliable option on P. Thomas. All three has some sort of fantasy value. Let's be honest here, Rodgers speed isn't nearly as impressive as Sproles. However, his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, make guys miss in the open field make him a great sleeper in many PPR leagues. IMO the days of drafting a RB who will pound the rock 300 times for you are over. As football evolves into a more passing friendly league, fantasy players must be cognizant and willing to adapt to these changes. That said, I'm predicting 532 yards, 4 tds and 50 catches for 468 yds and 3 tds.

    J. Rodgers this year's D. Sproles

I don't expect Rodgers to have the same type of season as Sproles accomplished last year. What he did last year few of us expected, but more of us hoped for. All I meant by the original post was their situations are rather similar and could be utilized in the same fashion especially as ATL turns more high octane. Ryan is in for a big year and has three huge targets down field. Who isn't to say Rodgers can't catch 50 balls out of the backfield over the course of a season? I think my predicted numbers are more than fair. RIGHT NOW he isn't a starter, but could definitely be a nice bye week start.

    peyton hillis predictions?

I also like Hillis this year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Chiefs when the AFC West this year. Jon Baldwin is also a name you should eye up this season. As long as Hillis isn't counted on to carry the entire load, he will be fine (i.e. 2 years ago). I also don't think he was very happy in Cleveland last year.

    RB situation in DET

Let's look at the facts right now. Best is on the PUP list and likely out for the rest of the season. LeShoure is suspended for two games and coming off injury. Kevin Smith is currently injured but likely to star Week 1. Who has the best value moving forward in PPR leagues? What are realistic numbers for each player. Any DET homers give us some insight?

    Which site for in-game stats?

I've always just used Yahoo. Never really had a problem with it and actually prefer it at times.

    Demaryius Thomas

Thinking of keeping D. Thomas (10th rd) and was wondering how things were going with him at camp. Do he and Manning seem to have any sort of repertoire going right now? For those of you that have drafted already, where was he going? I saw on CBS Sports he was rated somewhere between 10-17 among wrs. Does that seem accurate to you?

    Hillis

Will get all of the goalline carries for sure. I like him as a possible solid flex player.

    What website do you use?

Okay, I go through this every year trying to improve our league. We've been playing with Yahoo for seven years, but I sometimes get frustrated with lack of customizable options. I've heard ESPN is good, but often have scoring corrections. Keep in mind that we do a free keeper league. I am looking for advice from someone who used to play with Yahoo and switched to ESPN. What did you like? What didn't you like? Bottom line which is the best and most customizable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Colts dropping like flies

I agree but wouldn't completely write it off. Manning is what? 35 years old now? He prolly has three or 4 good years left. I guess the more I write this, the more likely the Colts are to trade out of the 1st spot and get more picks.

    Trade evalation

Team A gets: Roddy White Team B gets: Maclin and Addai Who wins in 12-team ppr league.
  22. SuperSteelers

    Trade help

I wouldn't trade Roddy straight up for Michael Turner. I just don't think Turner has the value he did two years ago. Although it seems like you have considerable depth at the WR position so maybe it is worth the risk.

    Michael Bush = td vulture

This. It's been this way for three seasons and they've had success. Why is this a surprise?
  24. SuperSteelers

    Addai

Why did Carter get 7 carries last night to Addai's 11. I thought it was pretty obvious during the Pittsburgh game that Addai is the better runner right now. Are they trying to keep him fresh? They are 0-4 with little chance of making the playoffs.
  25. SuperSteelers

Who is a surprise so far?

I'd have to go with Darren Sproles in my PPR league. Other than the first week, he hasn't left my flex/spot this season. He constantly gets 5-8 catches a game. Hopefully he can get around 7-9 tds this year. Also, I've been pleasantly surprised with Joe Addai. The value I got (6th rd) is better than the likes of Shonn Greene who was suppose to have another breakout season. Who do you got?
