I actually draft the same way...I use the overall rankings for the first couple rounds and then stick with the tiers. Your tool easily allows people to make adjustments to the baseline (via the factor row), and you very well may have tweaked the compiler recommended values. I only have back to 2014 on the cloud. I just wanted to check in and see where you were in relation to the trend/hype on WRs being more valued than RBs. P.S. I tried out another site's draft software the other day and it pales in comparison to yours. Congrats on such a long run with a great product.

With the trend of more passing over the last couple years coupled with more RBBC, do you think it's time to revisit the baseline rank values for Compiler Draft Pick Recommended ranking method? I've used your product for at least a decade now and usually do very well in my 3 leagues, but was curious if it's time RBs aren't valued as high as years past.

What did you end up doing? I'm considering dropping CJ for Hill in a non-PPR league.

Thanks for the info! Didn't think to try manually updating the fields to see if the lines would appear. I'll do that so no need or hurry to fix the bug.

The Tiering feature does not appear to be working on the IDP tab with draft_buddy_football_2013_1.0.xlsm. The offense tab is showing the tiers properly, but each IDP section just has a single Tier 1. I tried changing the tier value and recompiled but that didn't work (it only updated the offense sections).

Thanks, that fixed it for me! I'll have to search down more topics in the future before submitting

I am having the same issue. I have the number of starting TEs set to 0 and WRs set to 2 (with 0 TE backups and 1 WR backup). I have tried setting the flag to No and then Yes again, as well as re-trying the compile action. I'm using CC/DB version 2.0 with the latest projections update and Excel 2010.

It's fixed now..be sure to refresh your live scoring.

Ya, I have the same problem. Says "illegal lineups". I saw other people posting about it on CBS fantasy football message board. I assume there software doesn't know how to handle the Tuesday night game for Week 16. Hopefully they send out an update or fix it soon. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/26698369 They mentioned about waiver wires being postponed, but I guess they didn't think about the scoreboard. http://cbssportsfantasy.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/591

Darn, I just realized I didn't rank the D's (would have rated Steelers, then Bears)! Guess I'll have to be like FFToday and the others that get the average score. Looking forward to seeing the results! I did great with my league's scoring system...not sure how the article's is setup.

I'll take a shot. I like the articles and concept! My goal is to beat CBS since that's where I have my three teams. 1. Schaub, 2. Big Ben, 3. Favre 1. D. Williams, 2. Mendenhall, 3. Hightower, 4. McCoy, 5. Moore 1. Holmes, 2. Hester, 3. Avery, 4. Royal, 5. T.O. 1. Celek, 2. Shockey, 3. Finley, 1 Crosby, 2. Reed

Would you keep Frank Gore or Larry Johnson in a standard scoring league (with bonus points for long TDs)? The Cheatsheet Compiler has Gore listed at 5 and Johnson at 7. The ADP has FG=1.05, LJ=1.03. Gore: A little injury prone Broken hand Johnson: Not in shape just yet KC O-line not like it use to be I know, I know...what a horrible choice I have. ~

Doh! LOL...I clicked the + sign and see what you mean!! And I have a bye week issue with my RBs afterall. Oh well, I'm all set for the next two drafts now. Thanks again!
-
Mike, You're right. I didn't download the 2007 Excel version apparently. Your workaround worked perfectly! Thanks!! PS - Next year, if it's possible to put the bye week in the "by team" tab also, it will give a quicker view of possible conflicts. (I didn't have any though.) OH, and that "Draft Player" button on the various tabs is AWESOME. You need to charge more for these great products!

I'm using Vista with Excel 2007 (joy), so I downloaded the Vista version of the compiler/buddy. I copied my league profiles from last year into the compiler (on my older pc with Excel XP), then used the setup option in Buddy. I had my first of 3 drafts this weekend. I used Draft Buddy and entered all the results/picks. When I saved it, I did the following: Save As -> Excel Macro Enabled Workbook Then, this error pops up: "The name, POS1, either conflicts with a valid range reference or is invalid in Excel. The name as been renamed with _POS1. You may still need to manually update any references to this name used in VBA code or as text arguments in functions. You must close and reopen the workbook before these changes take effect. OK | OK to All." Since you can only choose OK or OK To All, I updated all the "invalid" names. After this is done, and you reopen the document, it's all hosed up. One example is the "by team" tab shows the firszt QB picked and then NA for everything else. Any suggestions for trying to fix this? Luckily, I do have the fantasy board from CBS to go by. Also, the "draft input" tab has all the info (except the last pick). I've used this product for at least 5 years now and it is worth it's binary digits in gold, btw! I'd deal with this issue every year if I had to. Any help is appreciated. Next draft is Thursday.
