Why can't i get damn thing to open up!

I downloaded it and I can't get it to open, what am I doing wrong????

Did you unzip the downloaded file? The .zip extension means it is compressed and needs to be unzipped first to use in Excel. The Cheatsheet Compiler was compressed using WinZip, which is a popular compression program. You can download the evaluation version of WinZip which will allow you to unzip the file.

If you did unzip the file, did Excel prompt you to "enable macros"?

Another possibility for others like me that have old software.

 

If you have an old Excel version, you'll need to find someone with a recent version to open up this spreadsheet and save it as an old Excel version file for you.

That would be anything prior to Excel 97, which is getting old in its own right.
