rollingrot 0 Posted October 28, 2005 i hope he locks in on driver.. but driver's been good every other week this season... and this week is an "other" week.
madd futher mucker 36 Posted October 28, 2005 I don't know about this week, but I think Martin may have some value this year. Let's see what happens but outside of Chatman (and of course Driver, who will see double coverage) Martin may be the next best receiver on the Packers squad. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they split him out occasionally and they will run more two TE sets with Martin going downfield. But I would like to see some indication of greater usage before I took a chance on him. He has been an underachiever his whole career.
TheGambinoCrimeFamily 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Jax players. Matt Jones or Ernest Wilford. Dome setting. No Bulger, Holt, or Bruce. Jax should have plenty of opportunities with their defense and win this one easily, and I like one of these two guys to sneak through for a solid game while a lot of attention is given to Fred Taylor and Jimmy Smith. waxg 3 Posted October 28, 2005 Mike Williams for Det Roydell Williams for Tenn if Brandon Jones does not play. (These are both for guys in real need but both have upside this week)... don't bench a stud for one of them
tdsteve_2000 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Az-zahir Hakim. Last 3 games: vs GB: 5 for 108 (11targets), long reception: 42yds vs ATL: 6 for 85 (10 targets), long reception: 19yds vs STL: 6 for 100, 1TD (9 targets), long reception: 34yds With Horn and Donte both questionable (I think Horn will play), Hakim is a PRIME sleeper candidate vs Miami, who has allowed 156 yds/gm with 6 TDs to opposing WRs. SWISH!

jgcrawfish 232 Posted October 28, 2005 CHESTER TAYLOR!!! You're stoned...nobody runs on the Burgh...and with no passing game, nobody in Nevermoreland except Heap is a good start, a good sleeper or a deep sleeper...in fact, most of them fall into the category of "comatose". shasha 0 Posted October 28, 2005 CHESTER TAYLOR!!! Maybe in the next few weeks, I snatched him up, but not this week. Lewis looks terrible and Billick's job is going to depend on a late run of some kind, Chester gives them the best chance. I personally am counting on Chatman to do something. I figure that with a 3rd string RB that Favre will be throwing it a lot and even if he throws 10 INTs, some of them have to get to Chatman. Plus he has 3 TDs in the last 4 weeks. Plus Holt is out so I am SOL.

At this point, I can run for more yrds than Jamal can, so Chester easily could. But, I believe this...first off, the guy had major surgery on his ankle, spent time in prison which hurt his conditioning and caused him to miss basically all of training camp, lost his QB early on which let defenses focus more on him, and is absolutely not being used as a receiving threat out of the backfield (which lets the LB cheat in and/or automatically lets the defense know it's a pass, and that it ain't going to Jamal). I believe at some point he's gonna realize that he's costing himself millions and his schedule is about to get easier. But he's hands down the bust of the year at RB.
