hoytdwow 202 Posted March 14, 2006 Currently reading "Chronicles, Vol. 1" by Bob Dylan. It's really good, and I don't even really consider myself a huge Dylan fan. What have you geeks been reading that's good? I'm looking in particular for excellent non-fiction recommendations. Fire away
davebg 0 Posted March 14, 2006 "Love Monkey" by Kyle Smith It's the book that the short-lived CBS show was based upon. Kind of like Sex in the City, but from a guy's perspective. It's pretty funny. Plus, check out this GRETA pickup line I got from it. Instead of making a lame compliment like "Nice eyes" or "I like your hair" (or...knowing the cretins who frequent this place "Nice t|ts")...compliment her shoes. Why her shoes, you ask? Two reasons: 1. Chicks love shoes. Especially their shoes. But they're not something that guys usually notice. So you stand out by complimenting them. 2. Of course, complimenting a girl's shoes may make her think you are gay, which could give you the opening you need to swoop in under the gaydar and get her digits before she even knows which team you bat for.
