NewbieJr 541 Posted March 15, 2006 Why is it that on some websites, namely FFToday and Danzone, it is refreshed everytime I click on the bookmark, but with others, namely FBG, I have to hit "refresh" or else it shows the page I was on the last time I visited. TIA
jerryskids 6,198 Posted March 15, 2006 It has to do with the cache mechanism of linux Red Hat 7.1 vs. SuSE servers. (I have no idea, but you have to admit that for a second I sounded like I almost had one).

jerryskids 6,198 Posted March 15, 2006 Not sure the FBG jokes pack the same punch anymore. But it was relevant to the thread topic, and had just the slightest hint of originality. (in the past I'd have just suggested you mate with a cantaloupe.)

Guest Black Label Society Posted March 16, 2006 It has to do with the server and web hosting application they use. If you use IE, goto Tools, Internet Options. On the General Tab, click SETTINGS in the Temporarly Internet Files Section. Under the 'check for newer versions' section, select the radio button "Every Time You Visit the Page". This should alleviate your issue.
