What are the best movies from the 70's?

I'll start with Star Wars and Jaws just to get them out of the way but what are some of the others?

Slapshot.

Nice. My first thought.

'The Harder They Come' was a revolutionary film, and it's effects on both movie making and music still resonate today.

This came out in 1976 - "Lipstick"

Chris McCormick (Margaux Hemingway) is a fashion model who is brutally raped by her sister's music teacher, Gordon Stuart (Chris Sarandon). After she presses charges and Stuart is found innocent by a jury, McCormick is understandably angry, but when Stuart rapes her younger sister Kathy (Mariel Hemingway), Chris goes out for vengeance. This controversial exploitation classic marks Hemingway's acting...

Also, Airport 1975

And in 1977, "Survive"

After an airplane carrying 45 passengers crashes in the Andes mountains, the 16 survivors are eventually forced to eat their dead compatriots.

Nope, it's Survive.

I think they made another movie after that called Alive.

I remember going to see Lipstick and One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest in a double feature with my parents one summer vacation. I was 6 years old! WTF were they thinking? I remember actually feeling physically ill after seeing that movie.
