Owner already has Baltimore and a deep roster http://league.xdl.us:8080/teamid_5.htm Okay, but I guess I'd rather have a really good backup DT than Avon Cobourne or the 5th WAS WR. Maybe that's just me.
Topes 0 Posted June 10, 2004 1) I'd rather have Cobourne and an 8th-round defense, which I can later cut for another defense that is showing promise. 2) I need a second defense for week six and nothing more. 3) Defenses are a crapshoot. 4) IF I were to want to draft a GOOD defense for my team, I would not be allowed to do so until AFTER all other teams had TWO defenses on their roster, under our curent rules. Topes 0 Posted June 10, 2004 Who is the fifth Washington WR? If I knew exactly who was and will remain the #5, perhaps I'd cut him. However, having gradually developed an unholy fixation on the cheap Washington WRs in a very deep league, I feel very little need to break them up.
Topes 0 Posted June 10, 2004 When they were cut, I still had the 4.03 pick. As OAK routinely gets drafted before the fourth round, the drop also could have improved the field at 4.03. Also, our defensive scoring system heavily favors the return game. Oakland's return game has soured over the past year and a half.
