Melissa Stark 1 Posted January 1, 2007 Guessing shootout, unless Herm becomes Herm LJ runs over the Colts but Peyton keeps them in it with a high scoring game 35 to 28 Chefs
Pancho Claus 0 Posted January 1, 2007 orale tony gonzalez 200 points colts
Boston 0 Posted January 1, 2007 The Chiefs should lineup three TEs and a FB on every single offense play and give LJ about 50 carries.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted January 1, 2007 This is a weird game. I can see the Chiefs running it at least 30 times, but it still will go over. I think the score wil be Colts 34, Chiefs 24.
IndyTom 0 Posted January 1, 2007 I can't recall anytime in the last 10 years the Chiefs have beaten the Colts - anywhere. Colts in a blowout.
JetsFan28 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Just hope it doesn't come down to a long field goal because Herm will back you up a few yards to get the ball centered. On a serious note, the Chiefs do have a chance. Hell, anybody has a chance against Peyton in the playoffs. I see Indy squeaking by.
psunate77 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Colts easy. I can't see them losing the opening game at home to a team that has a horrible secondary.

I'd still maintain that anyone has a chance against the Colts defense in the playoffs, though their offensive line and kicker also deserved a huge chunk of the blame in last year's defeat. I expect this one to be really tight, but the Colts pull out a close one at home. 31-

Jeremy 0 Posted January 1, 2007 LJ against that Colts run defense. I don't think it's that far fetched that the Chiefs could pull off the upset.
markf 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Look, if the Colts can lose to Houstan... they can lose to anyone. But that said, Colts by 3 in a squeaker.
winwithike 0 Posted January 1, 2007 I can't recall anytime in the last 10 years the Chiefs have beaten the Colts - anywhere. Colts in a blowout. 45-35 chiefs in 04, last time they played actually.
Vince44 202 Posted January 1, 2007 This is a killer matchup, so glad Denver missed out cause the AFC playoff matchups couldn't be better. I like the Colts but a KC win wouldn't be shocking given LJ vs the Colts run defense which will lead to some big plays off play action.
LittleGiants78 0 Posted January 1, 2007 I BELIVE THAT KC'S D (ESPECIALLY IN THE SECONDARY) WILL STEP UP AND THAT AND LJ = THE DIFFERENCE...
BMoney 0 Posted January 1, 2007 in a weird sort of sadistic way, I kinda see the Chiefs havin a chance in this game i agree..because the afc is terrible... i think the chiefs will rout the colts...and the colts wouldnt make it out of the nfc either.... cmh6476 926 Posted January 1, 2007 i agree..because the afc is terrible... i think the chiefs will rout the colts...and the colts wouldnt make it out of the nfc either.... i hope you are kidding when you say the nfc is better than the afc. Shall I research what the record is of the AFC vs the NFC?
BMoney 0 Posted January 1, 2007 i hope you are kidding when you say the nfc is better than the afc. Shall I research what the record is of the AFC vs the NFC? since the nfc doesnt play the afc until the super bowl..theres no need... just saying..the top afc teams are playoff phonies anyway... and i hope u arent including kc in with the the afc when u say they are better...they belong as much as the giants do... the difference being..the chiefs play a better seeded team that happens to have the worst run D in history.. oh, that superior afc.... tinnman 0 Posted January 1, 2007 i agree..because the afc is terrible... i think the chiefs will rout the colts...and the colts wouldnt make it out of the nfc either.... The AFC is terrible?! Dude, have you been watching the games this year? Saying the AFC is terrible is sort of like saying Monica Lewinski is hotter than Beyonce. Can I quote you? Classic... That said, the Colts made Ron Dayne look like LT. LJ will run all day LOOOOONG. The Colts are a powerhouse on offense, but their D is a seive. That is not the recipe for playoff success. I think the game will be close and can go either way.

markf 0 Posted January 2, 2007 Back to the Colts and Chief game... KC needs to watch the news for one player. Bob Sanders. He and Bethea have been out on and off for several games now, and they were key to tightening up the run defense against the strong ground attack of Denver and NE back in November. So before you start counting LJ's yards, keep an eye on the Indy players coming back from injury. There's a reason they've been sitting out recent games that they could have played. I'm just sayin.
