CA is pretty well represented.

Is Compton part of LA??

A few facts about lovely Compton, CA! (in case any of you are planning a vacation destination...)

Compton is a city located in Southern Los Angeles County, California, USA, southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Crime:

In 2006, the Morgan Quitno Corporation rated Compton as the most dangerous city in the United States with a population of 75,000 to 99,999, and fourth most dangerous overall. The city is notorious for gang violence, primarily caused by the Bloods and the Crips. Compton's violent reputation was popularized in the late 1980s by the rise to prominence of local gangsta rap groups Compton's Most Wanted and N.W.A., who released the famous album Straight Outta Compton in 1988. The most recent rapper from Compton to popularize the city's gang culture is The Game, with his albums The Documentary (2005) and Doctor's Advocate (2006).

We've got the Bloods and the Crips out here! :pointstosky:

9) Detroit, MI 39

:pointstosky: On Flint being above Detroit. I actually have never driven through Flint, i hear it's rundown, but, didn't think it was that bad. Detroit was #1 a couple years ago, so, i guess them falling that far is good, i still say it's because they can't afford guns anymore. BTW, i live about a mile outside the border of Detroit, the park behind my house is pretty popular with drug dealers from Detroit, that like to do buisness just outside the border

Michigan may have 2 in the top 10 but...

Westland, MI- 0.0

Sterling Heights, MI- 0.0

Ann Arbor, MI- 0.0

B) Kind of suprising on Ann Arbor since that is a bigger city which has had some conflicts in the past, i do hear it is one of the best cities to live in Michigan.

I don't mean to dwell on the racial aspect of things, but there is a direct corelation between high percentages of black population and murder rates. All of those cities are upwards to 70-90 percent black.

Conversely, the cities with the lowest murder rates are practically all white.

It's funny that people talk about America being a dangerous country with high crime rates, but the truth of the matter is that if you took out all the crime committed by non-whites the crime rate by White Americans is equal to Sweden or Norway.

Does anybody want my opinion of murder based on percentage on ne.groes?

i can pretty much guarantee that the flint michigan stats are probably close to 100 percent black-on-black murders.

that city is a shiathole of the first order.

No, not Orange County. I live in the South Bay area of SoCal. You're near here too, right? I definitely do not live in Compton, but as you are probably aware, Compton is only about 10 miles or so away from the Beach Cities.

It's closer to where I work than where I live.

6 miles from work

15 miles from home
