2bmayhem 1 Posted September 12, 2007 Standard performance league and one point per reception. Only a ten team league, we draft three RB, and start two. Drafted Addai, MJD, and Edge I was not so sure on MJD, but pulled the trigger on him in round two @ 2.06. I drafted Edge in the fourth round as a bye week filler until AZ proves other wise. Interested people's thoughts on Lamont Jordan Not in panic mode, but interested if Jordan presents a better option overall in a PPR league? It was only one game but he was targeted ten times, with nine receptions. Do the experts (and homers) here believe this to be the trend for the Raiders this year? Didn't have him on my radar in the draft, and didn't expect him to targeted so much in game 1. To those that don't like PPR leagues, it's our first with it added to the points system. I don't make the rules, just try to build a roster around them. Any help would be appreciated.
HowieWan 0 Posted September 12, 2007 I'm not sure if you have any specific questions here, but I'll offer a few thoughts: You will be just fine with Addai, MJD and Edge. As the Cardinals evidenced on Monday, they are going to live or die by Edge. So he would fit the bill as a "consistent RB2" in my opinion. MJD has huge upside if he gets rolling, so I'm not sure you have anything to be worried about. I like Jordan a lot this year, and doubly in PPR leagues. Even when Rhodes returns, Jordan will still have 5-6 receptions a game, doubling his value in PPR leagues vs regular leagues. Another guy like this is Pittman - if Caddy's injury is anything serious (and even if it isn't), he is a guy that will get 8 looks a game in the passing attack, meaning easy points for a RB in a PPR league. If you have a chance to land Jordan, grab him immediately. Just not at the expense of Edge or MJD.
