The Moz 69 Posted December 18, 2007 I will be making the dice roll tonight to get the order of choice for the playoffs. There is one open team - I will make that selection ( if no objections ) - I got a few responses via MB but no emails when I posted on the Main bored here. as for the rules : here goes. dice roll goes lowest to highest for order - meaning 1 or 0 would be lowest 1000 would be highest. - Person with the lowest number rolled picks first then it follows suit in order. Right after dice roll I open it up for anyone to select. You may only select teams that have clinched a playoff spot - so the last 2 or 3 might have to wait untill after week 17. after teams are selected the order of draft postion choice will go thus. superbowl winner superbowl runner up championship game loser with most points scored championship game loser with lowest points scored divisional game loser with most points scored dicisional game loser with 2nd most points scored dicisional game loser with 3rd most points scored divisiohnal game loser with lowest points scored wild card loser with most points scored wild card loser with 2nd most points scored wild card loser with 3rd most points scored wild card loser with the lowesat points scored After the NFL playoffs -- you may make your (f)draft order postion choice at any time up untill 3 weeks before out draft ( keepers need to be named as you make your draft order selection ) . At that time I will allow a 1 week window to get all draft postion choices made ( if needed which I doubt as with this active bunch they will likley all be made by the pro bowl ! ). If you have a slam dunk keeper like a LT , AP, Addai , Westy , or Sjax you know what you wanna do but poeple who don't have those guys might need time to decide so this will be a long process. After all draft order choices are made I will open up trading of draft picks up untill the draft - but again no trading once draft starts. I know you might want there to be trading during the draft but I cannot say enough how trading holds up a draft and pisses people off as it drags forever. Draft - will begin first monday of June - I have not yet decided wether a 12 or 24 hour time limit would be best. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am willing to do the draft as soon as I recieve payments from everyone. If thats after the pro bowl it's cool with me. but that would have to be a totall 100% everyone want it type thing. You would think that wouldn't ya ( so did I ) I set the date like 6 months prior and still had 2 owners drafting by phone in which made it ! and one other that forgot to bring a lap top power cord I think the slow draft works best and it last longer that way. but I would be open to the live thing if everyone wanted to Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

famousb 11 Posted December 18, 2007 personally, i'd like to wait til at least after the NFL draft. any time after that, we're all still at the same disadvantage... but 1st week in June works for me. Live draft is cool, but could create issues. This league was pretty dang fast even w/ the "slow" draft last year, plus it gave us plenty of time for "analysis" in between picks... jocstrap 8 Posted December 19, 2007 Slow draft please beginning after the NFL draft. This was no doubt an active league in June/July when we really needed each other the most to get through the tough times. Hell, RLLD was a huge participant before 47 leagues got in the way. I thought the way we did it this past year was perfect. Why change something so perfect? Plus I need to mock to find out where I get Darren Mcfadden to match up with Bush a dice roll on DECEMBER 18TH is classic! Which playoff team to I get to ride this year! Come on #3/4 pick!
