Big Blue 06 195 Posted December 31, 2007 I think the Giants will go in to Tampa Bay and beat the Bucs. This is a perfect first round matchup for the Giants, as it's in warm weather, and Tampa is not overly impressive. Let's go Giants.

This is a perfect first round matchup for the Giants, as it's in warm weather, and Tampa is not overly impressive. Let's go Giants. I value your opinion, however the Giants aren't overly impressive themselves. You are playing an away game and the Bucs have much more playoff experience than the Giants. Eli has never won a playoff game. Bucs win because they will be much more rested and being at home is huge for this team.

However, the Giants were 7-1 on the road this year, so I don't forsee them having a big problem playing in Tampa. Also, Eli seems to play much worse in the cold weather, and Tampa should be nice and toasty. If the Giants got any momentum from last night's game (and I think they may have), then they should play well this upcoming week.

49ers_suck 0 Posted January 6, 2008 i've got the Bucs to win this one, but anything could happen. if the giants can get brenda going early, take some pressure off baby face, it could be a good day for the g-men.

49ers_suck 0 Posted January 6, 2008 eli actually looks pretty good, but theres still another half for him to feck up! both defenses look pretty tough today. g-men pass rush is keepin garcia on his fancy bly toes. lotta dropped balls. overall not really impressed with either offense. is it just me, or does brenda looks slower today then he's ever looked? really dont care who wins. either team is fodder for the Cowboys. Peyton had trouble in the playoffs early in his career as many QBs have. Not that I think the Giants will make the Super Bowl, I predicted they win today and next week as well in the Geek Board playoff thread, for what ever that is worth.
