DaBomb - Its a Sequel 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Lets face it, Johnson did not do much his 1st year, injury or no injury and Martz is gone. For what its worth, L Fitzgerald is my #1 WR in a 12 team league.
Borat33 17 Posted August 29, 2008 If you have a real good #1 then yeah I have no problem with him at 2. He is my #2 behind Wayne. Expecting big things from this freak of nature.
PackYourNut 47 Posted August 29, 2008 He will be a #1 by year end!

jgcrawfish 232 Posted August 29, 2008 I expect Calvin to finish ranked somewhere 8-12 in WR FF pts at year end...easily making him a #1. I would have NO problem drafting Calvin as a #2WR on any of my teams. He makes the leap to great WR this year.

jgcrawfish 232 Posted August 29, 2008 Holmes will be the better WR this year. I hope so, cause if things break right this weekend I'll be getting Andre Johnson or Colston to team with Calvin AND Santonio!!!
Jules 0 Posted August 29, 2008 If you have a real good #1 then yeah I have no problem with him at 2. He is my #2 behind Wayne. Expecting big things from this freak of nature. I'm in the same boat, have Wayne along with Boldin and Johnson, hoping for some surpirses this season.

JediMaster 20 Posted August 29, 2008 Holmes will be the better WR this year. Thanks I needed a good laugh this morning.... I have him as my #2 behind A. Johnson in my big money dynasty league. Picked him up in my small money league and I'm going to target him tomorrow night in another money league. He's top 10 easily
TK0001 98 Posted August 29, 2008 Lets face it, Johnson did not do much his 1st year, injury or no injury and Martz is gone. For what its worth, L Fitzgerald is my #1 WR in a 12 team league. Ditto. I went RB/WR/WR/WR/WR/WR in my PPR league and couldn't be happier with the results. Barber, Fitz, Calvin, Marshall, Harrison, R. White. We can start 5 WRs, by the way. As a Lions homer, I would also concur that CJ is easily a solid #2 WR, at the least. He gets a knock because of last year, but he suffered a pretty brutal lower back injury early in the year that would've put most players on the DL. I can't believe he played through it. There is a ton of hype surrounding CJ, but it's all warranted. He has a great motor and the willingness to learn and work hard. He also happens to be a freak of nature. Take him with confidence as a #2 WR.
Inhiding 0 Posted August 29, 2008 I hope so, cause if things break right this weekend I'll be getting Andre Johnson or Colston to team with Calvin AND Santonio!!! I have Calvin paired/teamed up with TO, Santonio, Tory, Vincent Jackson... So i am hoping for some good things from him this year
DrewzerNC 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Went Colston in Rd. 2 then Megatron in Rd. 4 and couldn't be happier. You have to expect good things from him starring opposite Roy. Kitna isn't Brady but he's no Boller either! Plus, you can't go wrong with fielding the leader of the Decepticons!
NYSHOCK 0 Posted August 29, 2008 I too have Calvin paired with TO as my top 2 wrs but I have question marks for my #3 as I have Nate Burlesack and Berrian holding down the #3 slot. Here's hoping Megatron can be what every1 is hoping for. We start 3 WRs in our league if you are wondering with 0.5ppr

We start 3 WRs in our league if you are wondering with 0.5ppr I also have Calvin along side TO this year and i've got Cotchery as my current #3. I have Branch and Gaffney as bye week fillers for now but both of them could be dropped in a few weeks. Tim
Stifler 2 Posted August 29, 2008 I have Calvin, Edwards and Colston...I am starting Calvin over Edwards in week one. Of course it is because of Braylon's foot and DA's head but I am still starting Calvin against the Falcons with confidence.
fixedrate 0 Posted August 29, 2008 I have.... Wayne Cal. Johnson Cotchery Driver in a ppr league.....feeling pretty good.
Late((MF))Hitters 1 Posted August 29, 2008 Megatron was my "must draft player" for 2008 and I took him in the 4th round. I'm in a PPR league and my WR's are.. T.O. Steve "I'll ###### that eyesocket up" Smith Megatron I am very excited about unleashing these 3 on my opponents.
Wally Cleaver 0 Posted August 29, 2008 I wouldnt be shocked to see Calvin finish as the #1 wideout this year... If Kitna stays healthy, I think Detroit is the offense that shocks everyone this season, with megatron leading the way...

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted August 29, 2008 The Sky's the limit. I could see him being the #1 fantasy WR this year, he's that talented. As a #2 or #3, you are set at WR this season. I took Marshall over him in my draft, thinking I could scoop him up the next round. No dice...I regret the pick. And I think Marshall is going to have a very nice year himself. mobb_deep 919 Posted August 29, 2008 I have.... Wayne Cal. Johnson Cotchery Driver in a ppr league.....feeling pretty good. Fitz Calvin Cotch Driver Funny thing is, Cotch actually projects higher in PPR, since he catches more balls. Calvin is more of a Edwards/Jennings/Holmes type guy. Lower receptions, but higher TD ceiling.
runner06 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Went Colston in Rd. 2 then Megatron in Rd. 4 and couldn't be happier. You have to expect good things from him starring opposite Roy. Kitna isn't Brady but he's no Boller either! Plus, you can't go wrong with fielding the leader of the Decepticons! I did the exact same thing in my 14-team PPR league that is transitioning to a lifetime keeper league this year from the third slot. My 3rd round pick was Reggie Bush. mambokings 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Calvin Johnson has reportedly added 20 lbs to his frame for this upcoming season. Not only was he a freak of nature before, but now he's stronger and more durable.

Mack 1 6 Posted August 29, 2008 The hype surrounding this dude reminds me of the Reggie Bush talk last year at this time. I just have a hard time putting the same amount of faith that most of you have in a guy who--ungodly potential aside--has done little to warrant it. I guess that's why they play the game. Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted August 29, 2008 I've got R Moss/TO/Edwards/Wayne so all you other dudes can snack on it! But seriously folks, I won't be able to get Calvin on my teams because so many are going gaga over him that it's pushing up his stock a full round and my drafts not until next Tuesday. Thanks to all for that. By the time my draft hits I'm guessing he's coming off the board right at the same time as Colston, TJ Housh, and AJ. I'm thinking I'm going to get good value on Roy Williams by the time my draft rolls around.

I know I would pull something in my brain if i tried to even figure out what position you drafted out of. Please keep your jakking off stories to yourself. Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted August 29, 2008 What part of "But seriously folks" do you tools not understand? It was a joke based on everyone else giving their ridiculously stacked WR corps on their teams. I can believe I need to spell this out to you.

I would post my WR corp, but I don't want to embarrass the folks who think they are stacked.
