sick_n_tired 0 Posted October 15, 2008 I dont know about your league, but there are exactly 0 starting QBs on the wire in my league, so if there is enough WW talent out there go for it, but it IS a risk, and you look good at WR already. lpdeluxe 0 Posted October 15, 2008 I'd hold off. Like the previous poster said, my league has almost no starting QB's left and having two solid #1's a a bonus. I don't like Calvin as much even without Roy, because their QB's are less than exciting. If you feel you're weak at WR, there is most likely a decent candidate out there on the wire that you can add to replace Engram (my choice) who is also in a bad situation. thanks for helping with mine. The Lions are a sinking ship with an unproven QB and you would sacrifice a starting QB on most teams and a WR who is modestly less valuable than Calvin. I'd think that Rodgers/Berrian could fetch a lot better. Granted, Roy is gone but Mega's stock isn't what it was with Kitna; Orlovksy or Stanton aren't too promising. And while Mega is heavily targeted, Roy's coverage can now slide over. Did you know that since Frerotte appeared that Berrian is one of the highest scoring WRs?
