Official Browns vs Eagles Thread

Recommended Posts

On Oct. 13, the Browns beat the reigning Super Bowl champs, the New York Football Giants at Cleveland Browns Stadium, 35-14, when no one (except for Midwest Sports Fans!) gave the struggling Browns a chance. And that was before Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn and Derek, again, got hurt.

In fact, Anderson played his best game of the season against Eli Manning’s team, earning a quarterback rating of 121.3 compared to his season average of 66.5 before going down with a leg injury.

And on Nov. 17, beneath the Monday Night lights in Buffalo, Quinn led the Browns to a 29-27 win against the play-off contending Bills, with a little help from field goal kicker Phil Dawson with less than two minutes to go.

The browns are excellent in MNF games this year with a 2-0 record.

Predictions for tonight:

Dorsey will stay on his feet at least 50 percent of the time.

Shaun Rogers will play like a beast and Brandon McDonald, D’Qwell Jackson and Mike Adams will destroy Westy

Donovan McNabb will play like he did when he was benched in the second half of the Baltimore game

Braylon Edwards will catrch a long ball in the end zone

Joshua Cribbs will play a “wildcat” role and run wild all over the Eagles D

Dallas Empire Prediction:

Browns 28 Eagles 17

All the Westy owners are going to get screwed tonight. Just thought I would warn you to take the meds now before the game. :overhead:

I hope so...in my Suicide League, it was down to four teams and three of them picked Philly tonight. If they lose, I win...GO BROWNS!

I have a feeling about this game and I think Philly gets smashed. The Eagles are obviously the better team but I just think they come out flat. Die Eagles. :overhead:

You know, you want to save Corky Empire from himself, however you just have to let him go and watch the carnage.

Because of the economy and lack of funds for the Special Olympics, Corky Empire's spending way too much time on the FF today site.

Let's get a fund together and get this special guy back out on the track. Whadya say?

Westy owners get screwed again. OMG! Three times now that the Eagles have screwed Westy owners in the red zone.

Hopefully they go with Buckhalter the rest of the night. It's obvious Cleveland won't come back to make it interesting.

I might have been on to something there. 1 rush to Buckhalter on that drive.

I loved the pass TD in the red zone. Did Westy screw Andy Reid's wife?

Does Reid risk injuring Westbrook in a blowout game in a steady rain?

Tony Kornheiser is a blowhard who is completely out of touch with reality (on MNF) regarding anything that has to do with the teams playing or the players on the team or the city he is in or the fans... etc. etc.

Yeah, I know I'm just repeating what everyone already knows... but I'm sitting here scratching my head listening to him blather on regarding stuff he clearly has no clue about.

Thank you.

Westy owners need to find out where Reid lives and pay him a visit. I would be livid if he screwed my team like he has done tonight. Three chances in the red zone and the eagles either throw an int or turn the ball over.

Predictions for tonight:

Dorsey will stay on his feet at least 50 percent of the time. nope

Shaun Rogers will play like a beast and Brandon McDonald, D’Qwell Jackson and Mike Adams will destroy Westy meh, left with a shoulder injury, came back, didn't destroy westy (though he didn't do much)

Donovan McNabb will play like he did when he was benched in the second half of the Baltimore game yuck, not even close. McNabb had ice in his blood all night (bad red zone pass not-withstanding). I'm beginning to think they are turning it over with 5 seconds left on purpose. )

Braylon Edwards will catrch a long ball in the end zone ahhhhno. Though he did have some nice grabs tonight.

Joshua Cribbs will play a “wildcat” role and run wild all over the Eagles D he did try the wildcat once, and got smoked by dawk. didn't try again. I will say he looks like a promising player though

Dallas Empire Prediction:

Browns 28 Eagles 17  Browns 10 Eagles 30  good call.

Perhaps wishful thinking on my part, but I was correct in my assessment of Westbrook's fantasy performance.
