streak 0 Posted August 30, 2009 10 team - 8th pick Start - QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, FLEX, TE, Def. Traditional scoring-except all TD's=6 I considered going WR/WR, but switched strategy on the fly and still ended up with sweet WR's What do you think- I am VERY HAPPY! The top 6 QB's were off the board by the end of the 3rd round. I think several of the owners over value the QB's. I missed handcuffing J. Stewart to D. Williams by two picks. All opinions are welcome! 1. D. Williams 2. Andre Johnson 3. Calvin Johnson 4. Pierre Thomas 5. Kevin Smith 6. D. McFadden 7. D. McNabb 8. M. Schaub 9. PHI Def. 10. Donald Brown 11. Miami Def. 12. Percy Harvin (wild card) 13. Chris Henry (gut feeling) 14. Kevin Boss 15. G.B. Def. 16. Garret Hartley N.O. K. 17. Vernon Davis 18. John Casey Car. K. harpua3 0 Posted August 30, 2009 thats a great draft... how did Calvin slip that far?
celloshane 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Looks like a contender to me! I think you've got great RB depth and between McNabb and Schaub you aren't going to miss any of those early quarterbacks. manola 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Looks like a great draft. With Stewart's trouble staying healthy, DeAngelo could be a real steal at #8. Andre and Calvin Johnson are huge in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I'd say this is about as good as you could've hoped for. Do you see other teams in your league that are similar in strength? Thanks for mine.
streak 0 Posted August 31, 2009 This is the order of WR's taken - 13 Andre Johnson 14 Fitz 17 Moss 21 Steve Smith 22 Reggie Wayne 25 Greg Jennings 26 Marquis Colston 28 Calvin Johnson I picked A. Johnson as the #1 WR taken because of his 1,500 yds, 115 catches with various QB's. If Schaub stays healthy I expect the same type numbers and an increase in TD's. Maybe in the area of 11-12. I could not believe Calvin Johnson was still there at 3.8. I have him rated at worst, the #4 WR.

Wow seems like there was a run on QBs way too early and C Johnson was wa undervalued because he's on a bad team, when in fact he should be even higher on draft boards since Detroit will be playing from behind. Nice draft please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=348549
Football Fan 20 2 Posted August 31, 2009 I'd say a lot of the players lit up on qbs bc of the 6 points for all TDs, still very surprising that Calvin Johnson fell that far. If you really want to handcuff D Will you may want to try and work a 3 team trade where you trade D. Brown to Addai owner he trades to Stewart owner and Stewart owner trades to you. Just a thought. Came out like a bandit with the 8th pick. Good luck check mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=348556
