famousb 11 Posted November 7, 2009 Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said he's gaining confidence in Ronnie Brown's ability to throw the ball out of the Wildcat. i think RBrown was definitely a steal in the late 3rd round. i still can't believe i got him there as i was debating drafting him in the 2nd. Big Blue 06 195 Posted November 7, 2009 Indeed, Ronnie Brown is turning into a steal where he was taken. That whole offense essentially runs through him.
famousb 11 Posted November 7, 2009 i drafted him in 2 leagues, and am VERY happy w/ the value. The only other player i think was more of a steal in some leagues was Ray Rice...

He's completely sucked for the last two weeks though. I'll trade you Berrian & Burleson for him.
famousb 11 Posted November 8, 2009 He's completely sucked for the last two weeks though. i think ever since Pennington went down teams have just been able to completely key on him - and that's why Ricky has been having more success as of late IMO. it's a pick your poison scenario, and most teams have been picking the RB poison. dehaven123 31 Posted November 9, 2009 Good news about 1 of my players... LJ gets cut, done today. LJ signs w/ NE, becomes a solid flex play. Waiver wire fodder paying off

Waiver wire fodder paying off i can't believe they actually cut him... figured they'd at least try to get some $$ back from him... i can't really see any team signing him at this point, unless they think he still has gas left in the tank for next year and they want to make certain they get him... if a team claims him off waivers, they'd have to pay him the rest of his salary for the year AND pick up his existing contract, right? He's cut and out of the league. If a team signs him, they negotiate a new contract (payment terms) I'm pretty sure. The NFL could suspend him if he signs. He couldn't even get 50 yards rushing against the Chargers and he got over 20 carries (I think).
