Typically when you right in all caps, that means you're yelling. If you capitalize a given word or phrase, that can just mean you're emphasizing that word/phrase.

Sounded like you were yelling

you would know it if i was yelling

Look, I agree with professional athletes should handle ass whipings and if you can't stop them from scoring than it's your fault and all that. Whatever, all that is fine.

But it is nice to see a team win with class. When you are up three or four TD's with three minutes to go it is the classy thing to do to run the ball three times, take all the time off the clock and either get the first down or punt. Not only that, to be honest ,you put your WR and QB in the position to get hurt by throwing the ball in those spots. Either way, it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

So while the team getting the beating needs to worry about themselves, to win with class seems to be a lost art.

Oh, I definitely agree that the Vikings lacked class Sunday. Running up the score is a d!ck move, and Im sure Dallas will remember it when they play the Vikings next year.

Dear Pats Nation,

The reason more people don't jump on the Vikes is because this is more or less and isolated incident and not that big of a deal. Maybe it's happened before with them but they are not known for it. Their coach is not known for being an ass. So people look the other way this time.

The reason your beloved Pats caught flack is because your franchise (coach) exhibitied this kind of behaivor over the course of many games/years. It's the cumulative effect. For instance if the Vikes/Favre had been throwing the rock in several games throughout the season in the last minute of blowouts the pushback would have been louder.

But you course you guys know that. You just wanted something to whine about.

Kind Regards,

Everybody Else

At work the other day our boss informed us that we just doubled the market share of our biggest competitor. He told us all to take it easy this year so the spread doesn't get any greater. I thought to my self, what a classy guy.

I think the irony lost on everyone was it was a Cowboy complaining about running up the score. This team was all about back in the day.

Hell, they were doing it the week before against the Eagles. I didn't see Brookings yelling at Romo then.

What does this even mean? Surely you can't be this weird. :bench:

So you don't know why you were the only one who replied?

Brooking should not have an issue with the Vikings because his team, and his defensive unit, were calling timeouts to stop the clock when the game was no longer winnable.

If they weren't calling timeouts to stop the clock, perhaps the Viking don't have enough time on the clock to score a touchdown, or perhaps they would just kneel on the ball to end the game.

Couple that with how they Cowboys were still throwing the ball against the Eagles the week before (in the same situation), Brooking has no right to be whining.

Like Jim Rome said on his show.....just because you and the rest of the cowboy defense packed it in and quit.....doesnt mean the guys in purple had to.

Having said that though....it was way unecessary and thats how you get guys domed the next time they play.

Jim Rome is a focking b!tch!!! even though what he said is right :pointstosky: I cant stand that show if its on i wont even stop at that dam channel

If the Cowboys defense quit than the Vikings should have scored even more. Step on them when they are down and dont let them get up.

I heard Kevin Harlan (the guy that announced the game) on the radio on Tuesday. He said that Brooking took a very cheap shot at Berrian on the drive before (Elbow to the throat) that wasn't seen on TV and the refs missed it. He said he thought that was the motivation for the last minute TD. But he also said it was bush league and that type of play doesn't belong in the NFL.
