kujerry 9 Posted July 12, 2010 How many of you guys run a 15 to 16 team league. I am currently running a 12 team league and some of the owners are wanting to move the league to a 15 or 16 team league, and other owners think there won't be enough players or the players such as the RB position will be spread thin. We currently start 1 qb, 2 rbs, 2 WR and a WR/TE floater, Kicker and Defense. Just wondering what your all input is who runs a 15 to 16 team league. thanks KU
sheadtoo 1 Posted July 12, 2010 It defiantly thins the pool but also makes the owners "work" for each and every transaction. I like that part of the game. I guess it all depends on what type of owners you have as to what they want
BRANDON ROSS 0 Posted July 12, 2010 I had a question about a 14 or 16-team league. I'm not sure what the heck the 15 team league is all about. Do you use divisions? How does scheduling work for a 13 week regular season? How many teams should I send to the playoffs?
Peanut33 0 Posted July 12, 2010 A 15-team league works well if you're able to schedule a few doubleheaders for each team (we do CBS and it works fine for DH's). 15-team league, 5 teams in 3 divisions. Play 18-game regular season schedule over 13-week season (so each team gets 5 doubleheaders). So you play the 4 teams in your own division twice (total 8 games) and everyone outside of your division once (total 10 games). 6 teams go to playoffs -- 3 division winners and 3 wildcards with the top 2 division winners getting a bye in Week 14 Round 1. We tried 16 teams one year but that one extra team diluted the QB position more than you'd think it would especially when you have to cover your bye week QB.
