D-Boy 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Ah...I was answering someone's question on Gordon before your question. My apologies. Philly has given up only 28 more yards in the air than Atlanta...coupled with Atlanta having a terrible run defense and Cam being a guy who could explode for 100 yards on the ground. My logic would be: A. Tampa Bay will probably beat Philly in Tampa. B. If Tampa gets a lead, they'll probably go with Martin to kill clock. C. Atlanta will probably beat Carolina. D. Carolina will have to throw in garbage time to score. E. Garbage time will give Newton inflated numbers. great well thought out logic. THanks
jefe6661 0 Posted December 10, 2012 In a PPR league and been in serious need of help with my TE position after Gronk went down. Which of these 3 would be best to grab off Waivers? Tony Scheffler - so many WR injuries and now Pettigrew (not sure how bad ankle injury is though) went down for the Lions so he may see an increase in targets because the Lions throw like 60 times a game. Clay Harbor - with Brent Celek going down with a concussion (Andy Reid said it was a fairly serious concussion for him to sit out) this is a riskier pickup because we won't know how long he will be out. After Celek went down he had a great game yesterday with 6 catches and a touchdown. Vernon Davis - Someone in my league dropped him last week but it's such a gamble because he's been invisible in the SF offense since Kaepernick took over. I know what his upside is but there may be too much risk involved. Which one should I scoop up??? Thanks in advance!

He just can't catch a ball. Davis has been a ghost this year. I know nothing about Harbor just that Nick Foles is a joke and I hate the Eagles. If I had to pick one of them...I'd probably take Davis. He is just one of those guys that could go off at anytime.

lpdeluxe 0 Posted December 13, 2012 I have a huge dilemma. PPR League with 5 yds rushing/point. I have 2 RB Spots and Flex RB/WR. I have the following for those 3 spots (I don't have a viable WR for the flex) Spiller vs. SEA (full time starter now) Law Firm vs. Philly Sproles vs. TB (tough rush defense, but he mostly catches balls) Reggie Bush vs. JAX (bad defense, but splitting time with Daniel Thomas) McFadden vs. KC (also bad, but nicked and could get nicked again) HELP! tikigods 76 Posted December 13, 2012 CJ Spiller vs Seattle, S Ridley vs SF, D Alexander vs Caronlina, M Williams vs NO. Need to pick two. My starters are always CJ and Ridley but their match-ups this weak are tough. Thanks, your two sense last weak was right on. Wow...tough. I have the same issue with Spiller and Ridley. Here is my gut on those two...and why I'm going with Ridley...Spiller is at home and Seattle is terrible on the road. Yes...Buffalo sucks. I know this. I hate Chan Gailey and the games he has been playing with Jackson and Spiller. I worry about Choice vulturing the goalline. Gailey is a huge thorn in my ass. Ridley has proven time and time again that he can handle the load against good defenses. My only worry is Woodhead and Vereen vulturing. SF defense is good, but so is the Patriot's offense. They'll score on SF. Ridley should be decent. Alexander and Williams are a toss up. SD is at home and I feel it will be a shoot out. He seems to be Rivers go to guy. I'd take Alexander over Williams. See the post above on my Spiller predictions. Chan Gailey is a bag of doosh. He'll put Choice on the goal line just to piss us off. BJGE against Philly Sproles. I just can't see sitting this guy. He could easily go for 100 on the ground. Miami is terrible. I hate their offense. Like Bush but hate Tanninhill. MCD is too risky for me to play.

tikigods 76 Posted December 14, 2012 Standard scoring: Flex: Dwyer, Matthews, Britt, or DHB. TE: Myers, Rudolph, or Pitta. TE, I'd go with Myers. He has 90 targets and a 78% catch rate. Rudolph is about 77 targets/58% Pitta is 77 targets/62% Stats say Myers. Flex...I'm assuming that is Ryan Matthews-SD? Yikes, man...it's a total toss up. My gut feeling is Dwyer. It may be Tomlin's chance to say "Fock you" to Mendenhall for being a whine ass and getting himself suspended. I think he tells Haley to run the sh1t out of Dwyer as a middle finger to Mendenhall. Plus the Steelers are playing Dallas. Dallas is due for a choke job.
