braylonjetwards 0 Posted September 19, 2010 I know his knee was dinged up but Bennet is getting all the time in 3 WR sets. Maybe I missed a report, but is there any reason he literally hasnt seen the field once?

hankhawaii 0 Posted September 19, 2010 lol...what's unreal is that after one week, you guys thought you were onto some major trend. This is what happens when you try to find trends after only 1 week of NFL play.

This is what happens when you try to find trends after only 1 week of NFL play. Trend? He finished last year with around 200 yards and 3 tds in the last two games. He had 70 yards last week and was targeted 9 times. He was second on the depth chart behind Knox coming into the week. He is definitely a better receiver than Earl Bennett, who was in on all 3 WR sets. This was not a case of the team just giving up on a player, if that were the case he would at least see the field a couple times. He had knee issues coming into the week. I'm not writing him off just yet, he's proved himself when he plays.
WhiteWonder 2,480 Posted September 19, 2010 i said he was simply the trendy flavor amongst bears WR's this offseason. Hester... Earl Bennett... Knox... Aromashodu now its back to Knox again.

Diamond in the rough? Sure. Raw talent? Sure. Maybe not as good as you'd like to think despite a couple good games? Possibly.

My point is that I doubt he got benched today, and when he returns he is still one of Cutler's favorite. I could be way off base but I expect him to come back and still be productive. Aroma may give you some good games but I highly doubt he ends up standing out in this WR group.

Neither Holt or Bruce had to separate from the group, they were both productive. He's not ever going to be Andre but he still has some value in deeper leagues when he's on the field. At any rate I didn't start this thread as a debate on Aromashodu's value. I was trying to see if anyone had insight on him not being in the game. From what I've read noone really knows, he just went mysteriously invisible.
