RenoKid 0 Posted December 2, 2010 Thoughts? Your league sucks. Some leagues started playoffs already. Why keep him if he's of no use. You suck.
Gepetto 1,192 Posted December 2, 2010 There's no timetable for his return to the lineup, but the Star-Ledger reported Nicks believed he had a "realistic shot" of playing Dec. 12 at Minnesota. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81c8f6be/article/giants-wr-nicks-looks-to-return-oline-still-decimated

TennisMenace 156 Posted December 3, 2010 I'd be surprised to see Nicks Dec 12, so expect Dec 19 instead. And even if he does play on the 12th, week 14, first week of playoffs, he will be rusty. I'm not sure who Gmen play week 15, but I think Eagles and Asante Samuel. Is he worth picking up to stash for 2 weeks to face Asante? I don't know. I guess it depends on your WR. I cut him 2 weeks ago in order to pick up Alexander. I already have Ken Britt waiting to come back, so I guess I didn't want 2 of my 5 WR to be on injured list. BTL99 34 Posted December 3, 2010 Why would you pick him up? He is only a top 5 WR when he plays which will be within the next 2 games for sure. I would definitely keep Floyd, because he has had such an amazing year.
Cstriker 2 Posted December 3, 2010 When did Asante samuel join the shut down Corners league? He makes great plays jumping the ball and getting ints. He is no revis to shut down Nicks if he was completely healthy.
TennisMenace 156 Posted December 4, 2010 When did Asante samuel join the shut down Corners league? He makes great plays jumping the ball and getting ints. He is no revis to shut down Nicks if he was completely healthy. Fair question. I agree, Asante is not in the league of Asomugah or Revis, but in the next level down with Champ. All I'm saying is this - He may not be 100% until week 15 and then he has a tough match up. If people are expecting another multi TD game against Eagles, maybe they should temper those expectations. Now, as for week 14 v. Vikes in Minnesota. There is a lot to like about that game - Vikes are tough ag. run thus you have to throw, and it is indoors. What I don't like is he is getting his stitches out sometime that week. He more than likely will be limited at practice all week. Maybe he can be 100% at game time. I just think week 14s game is his get back into the swing of things and have a snap count limit. Maybe I'm wrong. I think I'll go get him again.....(Bye Jacoby Ford.....)
