The Moz 69 Posted March 12, 2011 I think we all know that there will eventually be football just a matter of when. But I have to out the draft on hold untill the lockout is resolved so May is unlikely fella's. 2 senerios A. Lock out ends with 1-2 months still left before the season starts -- we draft as normal. B. Lockout ends in like mid or even late september we have a live draft as soon as I can get most people to agree on a time ( likely a week night or a Sunday when most folks are home ) if a few can't be at a PC everyone has cell phones and can text. Unless it is called for by most of the league their will be no replacement player draft. also if the lockout holds we might have to spend 1 season as a 10 team league as finding new owners will be tough but I will still try. jocstrap 8 Posted March 14, 2011 well I'm focked anyway. My keeper is changing professions to a professional track star. This blows We are in a holding pattern no doubt Moz. We just have to wait and see what happens, then go from there.

famousb 11 Posted March 18, 2011 If youre saying CJIII is faster than Bolt I would be willing to bet he wouldn't even make the track team in the Olympics. i'm saying it's documented that CJIII's 40 yard time is faster than the first 40 yards of Bolt's world-record setting 100 meter. But a fast 40 yard time doesn't necessarily translate into a fast 100 meter, CJ has the quickness to get off the line fast, but that doesn't mean he can keep up the pace for another 60+ yards. famousb 11 Posted March 18, 2011 Remember, CJIII ran a 4.24, then read this: http://speedendurance.com/2009/08/06/40-yard-dash-times-for-usain-bolt-and-ben-johnson/

Bolt was of course running a 100 yards and he turns it on toward the end. If Bolt was running a 40 he could probably improve his time in a real 40 yard dash over just selecting his time from the first 40 yards of a 100 yard sprint. However, even though i believe Bolt could reduce his 40 time, i don't know if he'd ever get down to a 4.24 (hat's just insanely quick); but likewise, we don't know if CJIII could string out his burst for a full 100 meters. but just for the record, CJIII did run track in high school where he posted a 10.38-second 100-meter dash. Which is obviously almost a full second behind Bolt's 9.58; but c'mon, he was still in high school and didn't have near the training he could get now... i'd guess CJ could probably get down <10 if i had to gamble on it (and for the record Ben "steroid" Johnson ran a 9.79 record setter back in the day...) I might agree here as Bolt is pretty tall and he is always faster at the end of the 100.. In the 40 I might take CJIII in the hundred CJ would be just like everyone else that races Bolt .................. off the screen when he finishes. maybe Bolt is a crack head ....... jocstrap 8 Posted March 25, 2011 who would you like to invite to join the league? I say we get somebody from the geek club that posts often. I'd like to see if they are actually as bad at fantasy football as RLLD. There are also some posters I really respect on this board about ff. Talk talk talk, but easy money when it comes down to the sport of ff football. There are some names I have in mind... Madd Futher Mucker - not a geek club guy, and I like his knowledge of football Joey Gladstone Jarvis Basnight I've always wanted to go head to head vs Gettnhuge MTskibum - seems to know a lot - I think he knows it pretty well I'm ok with White Wonder also - a bit rowdy, but definitely involved in football Vikes4ever - would be waay up there - not sure if he plays ff with real money though Jerryskids - always like to read what he says Sux - could he afford the $? I do talk to him on the phone about every other month Portis26 - I like his style as well GoColts - a guy I think that would be active and committed as well those are just off the top of my head - - why don't we compile a list and go from there? The Moz 69 Posted March 25, 2011 What do we need? We have a heated 3 way rivalry already between Famous - LBH - and Gepetto that always generates good trash talk. We have the guys that contribute alot but really aren't venomous in their posts -- unless you catch Joc when he is drunk or stoned . We have a few wallflowers that read but don't post much. Skids - I used to not like him but he actually isn't that bad MTskin - He is very good at FF and could be active. Portis - is a good choice Sux - if he would pay would be the perfect choice to replace Kutulu as the resident masochist. V4E - I asked him years ago and he already had like 10 leagues and wasn't interested -- if he was interested he would be one of my first choices. - hey could always go Newbie and RP and have the league turn into a big political debate
Little Big Head 6 Posted March 25, 2011 I've played In a league with Portis before and currently play in 2 dynasty leagues with MTskibum. V4E would be fine as he seems like a good guy from my time in the IBL with him. I'd forget all these owners and try for Dr Octopus though. He's extremely active and gets back on all trade offers within 30 minutes

Call it class:) I'm 4 months without pot which I really love, but it's time to move on (unless I can get some more without the wifey knowing:) - - I don't want to be dead when my kids have their kids I suppose. But I love a couple of puff puffs nightly. AHHHHHHHH I like LBH's guy in Dr Octopus - yes indeed he's way up the list. I think we have some great options on the board. Lets see if anybody else wants to throw out a few names, and then let's go from there.
Gepetto 1,282 Posted March 26, 2011 MtSkibum is in my other league (the one called BDII where Skibum beat me in the championship game) and we still haven't been paid by Steve (singman) by the way ). MtSkibum is really good at ff. Dr. Octopus I've seen post and know he is very into ff and probably very good at it. So I like those two, although it's just going to make it harder but even more rewarding to get that championship, which is oh so elusive for me.
