bjengel 0 Posted May 19, 2011 Last year the 2010 version of the cheatsheet compiler was released on 6/7. That is about 2-3 wks from now......... how are we looking as far as a release date goes for the 2011 version? Are you going to be releasing it in a couple weeks, or are you going to delay it due to the NFL lockout? - just getting antsy I guess - once June gets here, I'm in full fantasy football draft prep mode!! :-) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted May 20, 2011 Hi bjengel. Thanks for making the first CC/DB post of 2011 football season! We plan to stick to our regular release schedule, so we are looking at early June. We feel strongly there will be a season, and everyone should try to prepare for fantasy football season accordingly, so it is business as usual around here. We will be cranking out the projections, Compiler, Draft Buddy, and everything else very soon. I don't have a specific date to say right now (still working out some technical issues!), but hold on and it will be here before you know it. Welcome back! Mike MacGregor 20 Posted June 2, 2011 I'm trying to make it a lot more user-friendly. That has been a problem in the past which has hurt us. In accomplishing this, I've had to streamline some things and even remove some features... only ones I would consider frills though (like the countdown timer and the sound files). Once we are all set with this new version then we can discuss adding stuff back if there is enough demand or creating add-ons that people can choose to include, or not. I've toyed with keeper leagues before, so I'm familiar with that, but this will be my first attempt at a IDP league and I can use all the help I can get. We remain hopeful the season will be a go, of course, but for the purpose of this we need to also weigh the impact of a short or delayed start season. Whatever way it plays out, we will be as fair as possible to our customers so they don't get screwed (more than the NFL is already messing with all of us).
