Where do Matthew Berry and the rest of the "experts" really rank?

Interesting read. This is FantasyPros.com's "expert" accuracy rankings through 5 weeks. With all due respect to the staff at FFToday, we all know predicting fantasy performances is extremely hard and I would never claim to be better at it. However, we all know there is no such thing as an "expert" and we of course still love what they do here at FFToday. What FantasyPros.com does is track about 60 fantasy writers and analyze their projections every week for accuracy. Then they compile and update weekly. They also have a nice Start or Sit section where you can compare two players to see what the "experts" consensus is on them. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, and I still keep my loyalty and come to FFToday first and most often for my FF articles and insight (and I recommend you continue to do this too), but this is a nice site to peruse as well if you're looking for quality rankings and projections. Looks like there are some strong rankings coming out of Yahoo. Looks like the (in)famous Matthew Berry is as average as average can be, at 31 out of just about 60. And although our boys at FFToday are a disappointing 43rd and 53rd respectively, at least Krueger is top 10 at predicting DEF/ST.

Looks like that was right. CBS is always a week behind for projections. They had AJ Green poorly projected for 4 weeks.

 

Never paid attention to Yahoo. May start reading what they have to say.

I totally believe those of us that walked and played the game, do have insight into talent that the numbers nerds don't have.

 

Problem is this is Fantasy Football is a game of statistics, so you can do well analyzing stats from a computer, and never going out in the sun.

The above list is from 2011. So far this year, none of the yahoo guys are in the Top 10. Pretty interesting link, though. Shows the Top 20 "experts" from year 2009-present. Yahoo's Scott Pianowski's name seems to be listed most often in the Top 10. The Score's Justin Boone has been very consistent for the past 3 years.
