GobbleDog 919 Posted January 14, 2013 Poker tables = free drinks all night long. Good luck finding a waitress at the regular casino tables. At least, that's how it was at the MGM.

Too many sharks and not enough GFIAFPs in Vegas. I don't have problems getting drinks at the tables. Do you tip?

GobbleDog 919 Posted January 14, 2013 Too many sharks and not enough GFIAFPs in Vegas. I don't have problems getting drinks at the tables. Do you tip? No doubt, it was blatantly obvious who the locals were versus regular tourists. But in spite of the competition and me being an amateur who plays ultra-conservative, I still won $200 after a week of gambling. And yes I tipped. I even tipped the damn dealer after every win, but I really hated doing that.
DankNuggs 305 Posted January 14, 2013 O'sheas for beer pong during the day is a blast Hard rock pool on Sundays is where the strippers hang out. Ghost bar and club rain and the palms Get bottle service if you can, we had a guy on call that would reserve tables and get us through all the lines, highly recommend it. If you plan on spending 100+ at the bars minus well spend 250 and not wait in line at the door r wait at the bar for drinks. Cool outdoor club at the Wynn, also remember an outdoor bar at the trop that was good 'clementines' maybe it was called. NYNY has the bar with dueling pianos which is good, it's right on the main gambling floor. They also have a good Irish pub there as well. Mandalay has a cool lounge that it on an upper floor and has a killer view of the strip. Zhit, forget the name of the best club, it's indoor/outdoor, we had an outdoor table overlooking the strip with those propane firepits all over the place. Wasn't Tao (which is also fun). If I remember I'll edit it in here. Edit: Best super late night club was always very fear and loathing for me is Drai's at the barberry coast. Doesn't open until 2 or 3 am. They have redbull vodka on tap, trippy drum and bass music and whacked out people. A good time. I remember throwing a $25 chip on a roulette number staggering out of there and hit. Have fun
Bier Meister 1,613 Posted January 15, 2013 if you are willing to go off of the strip: frankie's tiki bar and lotus of siam. there is a monorail if you prefer not to use cabs. a lot of good restaurants have reasonable happy hours. buffets at the bellagio and wynn are good if you are looking for a buffet. TD Ryan2 316 Posted January 15, 2013 Coke Bottle / M&M ticket office for half price tix day of shows. Wax museum near Venetian is very cool. Bet on New England to win the SB.
The Moz 69 Posted January 15, 2013 If you like Poker - I like the Mirage - I always had good luck there. But the nicest tables IMO are at the MGM. The most comfortable seats though definitley Aria. Best buffet is the Bally's Sunday Brunch - pricey but worth it Best play to stay if you got the money is Bellagio overlooking the fountain -- my favorite is the Mirage though still overlooking the Volcano. If your a baller on a budget Paris or Hollywood. You do not want to go to Mandalay or even MGM. Vegas isn't like what is was when I grew up there when you could just walk the strip now it's up and down escalators and stairs - takes you forever and you want to be in the City Centre are (Bellaggio,Mirage,CP,Venetian, ETC)

JackARoot 2 Posted January 15, 2013 It's been about 15 years since I went, but I always liked to do my gambling at Binions on the strip ... single deck blackjack, good deal on craps odds, and the coffee shop had pretty damn good food

Frozenbeernuts 1,888 Posted March 4, 2013 So i went back to my favorite place to eat while drunk, Sirrico's in New York New York. Being from chicago i know what the best pizza in the worl tastes like, that being said i loved the new york style pizza they had with the sausage sliced instead of crumbled. Well about 15 minutes ago i go there all excited and shlt and their sausage is now papa johns style. WTF! it makes no sense and they should all die for this obviously stupid change.
