DrMantisToboggan 5 Posted April 21, 2013 Don't have to be unknown sleepers, just guys that will out perform their ADP Sleepers: QB- Andrew Luck (I think ADP will be rounds 8-10) TE- Dwayne Allen RB- Jets RB (whoever takes over for Shonne Greene) Busts: QB- Stafford (unless the lions get someone decent opposite megatron) RB- CJ2K (Not what he used to be and in a crowded backfield)
rholio 339 Posted April 21, 2013 Sleepers: QB: Carson Palmer- Will have his best WR core in nearly a decade, and something to prove. He's also escaping the Raiders, which should be a bonus. Ryan Tannehill- better weapons at WR, as well as a years experience for a QB most experts said needed a year to learn before being a viable starter. Look for a big improvement from him this season. RB: Maurice Jones-Drew. Many are writing off this stud RBs chances of bouncing back from an injury that cost him nearly all of last season. He's in a contract season, and at 28yrs old this is his last chance to land a solid $$ contract. Look for a lot of effort from this bowling ball of a runner. Lamar Miller- Currently ranked in the mid 20s at RB, he'll be given every chance to carry the load. An explosive play-maker, he could easily crack the top 15 when given the carries needed. WR: Hakeem Nicks- How quickly people forget who is the number one WR in New York. Look for Nicks to bounce back from the nagging injuries that kept him struggling to help the team last season. He is also in a contract season, and needs to show he's one of the elite WRs if he expects to be paid like one. Josh Gordon- Has all the physical ability to be a stud in this league, and should benefit from his first full off-season and training camp. Look for him to finish in the top 15-20, well above his current ranking.
WhiteWonder 2,415 Posted April 21, 2013 i like some of the names already mentioned. Eli Manning is a guy who might be drafted as a backup in 12 team leagues and can go for 4000 and 30. Im not saying those will be his numbers but he has that kind of upside throwing to Nicks and Cruz and he has a pretty high floor. Darren McFadden is in a contract year. If ever he had incentive to stay healthy, the time is now. michael Vick - ugh did i just say that? two years ago i was dead on about Marshawn Lynch. Last year I was dead wrong about DHB. I've not identified that undervalued position player yet... that guy to go out and trade for at a low cost or to draft in the middle rounds. Or maybe i have
rholio 339 Posted April 21, 2013 Busts: QB: Tom Brady- Currently ranked in the top 3, look for the team to run the ball more than ever to take pressure off a weakened receiver core. Gronk and Hernandez are both currently recovering from injuries, and could struggle to stay on the field this season. Look for Brady to finish top 12, but not top 5. Andy Dalton- Dalton started the season well before fading badly towards the end. Never an elite passer, look for him to struggle as teams have gotten a better read on his limitations. Don't be surprised if Cincy is looking for a QB a year from now. RB: Alfred Morris- Took off last season after winning the starting job in training camp. Morris is a solid running back but doesn't seem to be an elite talent at the position. Given that he plays for The Rat, it's easy to picture him losing carries to the next project to come along. He's currently ranked in the top 10-12, and that really looks like a best case scenario for him. He could easily drop well below that mark. Chris Johnson- His past two seasons should have been enough, but he still is being ranked in the top 15, sometimes in the top 10. He'll disappoint again this season, as he has every since getting paid a big contract. Look for him to have a bounce back season in the last year of this contract, if he makes it that long. WR: Victor Cruz- Currently ranked in top 12, look for this contract problem to really mess with him and the team this season. Look no further than DeSean Jackson to see what kind of impact to expect out of this. Hakeem Nicks will be the primary beneficiary of things in NY. Eric Decker- Currently a top 15 ranked WR, Decker looks like the 'odd man out' once Manning and Welker begin hooking up this season. Decker is talented and fits his role well, Welker simply fills the same role a little better. He'll have a few big games to keep his owners guessing, but will likely be a #4 WR in most fantasy leagues by mid-season. TE: Rob Gronkowski- Ranked in the top 2 by just about everyone, look for him to struggle due to injuries again this season. He'll see extra coverage with Welker gone, and I expect the Pats to run the ball a lot more this season to protect it's weakened receiving corps. Kyle Rudolph- Ranked in the top 5-8, Rudolph is a talented player who does everything pretty good, but nothing great imo. His teams passing game is too weak to project him as anything more than an intriguing back-up at this point, however. K: Who cares? Def: Ravens- This defense struggled horribly from a fantasy perspective while Ray Lewis was out last season. No Ray Lewis, no Ed Reed, no way they end up in the top 6 where they are currently ranked. WhiteWonder 2,415 Posted April 22, 2013 dmf was 26th in avg per game points ..playes for the same old raiders ..same old problems ..and i would think the incentive to stay healthy is with every player every season imo. really? explain to me how there is not more incentive to stay healthy when you are in a contract year if DMC plays 14-16 games and makes the pro bowl, will he not get a bigger contract in free agency than if he plays 7 games and averages 3 ypc? Super Cubs 142 Posted April 22, 2013 Sleeper Reggie Bush - Looking at what Best did when healthy I'd expect Bush to do the same. He may not have a lot of TDs but total yards will be there. He could easily finish top 12 RB in all formats. Bust MJD - Another year older, coming off a injury, a lot of miles, and playing on a bad team.

BufordT 391 Posted April 22, 2013 Sleeper: I'll ditto Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colt offense. The addition of Darius Heyward-Bey, I think, really solidifies the WR corps led by Wayne and Hilton. Throw in the two TE's that were both rookies last year and should only get better. Bust: Chip Kelly

weepaws 2,743 Posted April 23, 2013 Right, stafford was drafted early thrid round in my league last year. He did not put up 3rd rd pts. i don't know about that ..in must leagues i see the avg per round of qbs getting drafted would be three per round ..and last season stafford was 9th in fftoday points per game ....that would put him being drafted in the third round ..imo
