is it time to deal moreno?

Recommended Posts

After one game where they were up large on the Redskins, I'm not sure I'm ready to declare that the Peytons are trying to force a platoon. One game is not a trend.

with the broncos trying to force ball to be the man, or atleast a platoon is it worth shopping him?

I know the original post is ridiculous..... BUT..... This is a John Fox coached team and Fox LOVES RBBC.

Also, this is exactly what the Broncos said they wanted to do, Let the Full Monty get acclimated and give him more work. Is he going to be the man? NO, of course not. Can he be JStew to Kowshon's DWill???? Yes he can. I feel we will see Montee get plenty of work, especially on the GL. And God forbid Knowshon gets hurt, then Montee will lead teams to the promised land.

Get Montee on the cheap if you can.

I don't see why you would deal him. Denver has to keep pace with KC and NE, so they won't be resting on any laurels. And don't diminish the rookie factor. Manning still obviously prefers Moreno in the passing game, and the staff still has him carrying the ball the vast majority oif the time when the game is in doubt. One missed protection or fumble, and Ball is right back in the 6-10 touches range.

Knowshon is obviously their "man", but I do think they want ball to be the short yardage guy. And if ball starts getting all of the goal-line work that would obviously knock down Moreno's value some but he'd still put up high RB2/low RB1 numbers. I wouldn't trade Knowshon for anything less than Calvin, Gronk, and Graham at the moment.

Respectfully, one missed protection and that team is done. With the way QB's are going down I take NO chances if I am Jack Del Rio.

i dont see why the idea is so far fetched lol seems like a bunch of jerkoffs mostly on this board....

your original post was barely in English, try rereading it and let us know if we're still all a bunch of jerkoffs

I just dealt Moreno for Spiller. I know it's risky, but one has to take chances in this crazy world called Fantasy Football.

That's is an awfully rosy appraisal of a RB who struggles in pass pro, has stone hands and fumbles alot.

I laugh when they put him in at the goaline. Just shows you how little Denver coaches have learned. He'll put another one on the ground and join Hillman in the doghouse. Good luck.

If sir Charles was here, he'd give you the greatest turribel of his life!

I won't trade him, but I will think about sitting him vs KC. I probably won't, but the thought is in my mind.

I have other options for week 11. Like J.Charles @ Den, A.Brown vs G.Bay and M.James vs Atl.

Or I could just start Charles and A.Brown and use 3 wr's instead of 2..

If Z.Stacey wasn't on a bye week in week 11, than I would sit Moreno. I know he will be in my lineup, but like I said, the thought is there.

I look forward to bumping this thread Sunday night.

I hope you are right with your confidence in Spiller. I need him in a few leagues to come up big.

That's what I thought when I dealt Knowshon for David Wilson week 3

I hear you, but it's staring all of us in the face. It started in week 8, Montee's role will grow from here.

Well it ain't even halftime and you're already in the hole brah. You don't need to ever bump this on my account, I'm not the 'told you so' kinda guy. Just know it is an absolutely horrendous trade based on extremely flawed logic at best, whatever logic you used to make the decision...

Where's your commissioner? He should be asking this forum if he should approve that trade!! And then everyone can yell at him.

Between that and posters asking to be told they're pretty (bumping old notes where they predicted something correctly), that's what happens here.

But you've got stones. I give you that my friend.

I'm stupid. You're smart. I was wrong. You were right. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're very good-looking. I'm not attractive.

Well, I have been told that I'm quite the handsome devil on many an occasion, so thanks for the additional confirmation. I appreciate the compliments!

Have a fantastic day, dude!
