Lacy and Gio for LeSean McCoy?

Recommended Posts

12-teamer we start 2 RBs no flex, standard scoring.

RB corps was Lacy, Stacy, Gio, Ellington, Starks. (loved my young rookie RB corps like a damn pedophile, but wanted to try upgrade)

Now, is McCoy, Stacy, Ellington, Bryce Brown.

Trade went through this morning. At first I thought I got away w/ trade rape and the more I've been researching it it seems very fair to both of us. Who made out better ROS though, him or me?

I think you gave up too much. McCoy hasn't rushed for 60 yards in 4 of his last 5 games and only has 1 rushing TD in that same span. With Foles at QB, defenses can key on Shady a little more than when Vick was in there. At this point in the season, and since your league is not PPR, I'd rather have Lacy and Gio.

Lacy isn't that far from McCoy straight up. Gio+Lacy is clear favorite IMO.

Just figured w/ Lacy, Stacy and Gio; I'd have Gio on the bench most of the time, no?

I personally would rather have Lacy than Shady. Guy that got Lacy AND Gio most likely put his team in the pole position with that deal. Sorry mate....

Ok, thanks for the input guys. Needless to say, I will be watching the Eagles v. Packers game w/ bated breath.

:headbanger:

Forget Lacy. Gio has as many points as Shady today, doesn't he? No endzone for Shady, and Gio in again. Still, you gave up too much IMO.

Why are you cheering?

McCoy 15 pts

Lacy 7 pts

Gio 14

Lacy still looked good without Rodgers. Come FF playoff time, Lacy should be putting up more of what he has the last month when Rodgers returns.

Maybe in a vacuum this trade is even, but I think you're still missing the fact that I stated Zac Stacy is entrenched as my RB2, so most weeks Gio would have been riding the pine for me anyway, not to mention many of his points this week came in OT, as well as his Q tag coming into this game and the OC affirming Gio's role will not increase. Therefore, I got an extra 7 points this week alone, and am currently winning my matchup by exactly 7 points. If you can't do the math on that, I can't help you... McCoy is clearly still elite, whereas Lacy is on the border. I improved my starting lineup going into the playoffs, simple as that.

Gio's points didn't come in OT. , I wish they would have because then the Bengals would have won.

He also had more carries than BJGE today and it's obvious that will continue. Good trade for your trade partner.

Such a silly, silly thread. Bringing a trade to the forum that's already done, then defending it for no reason (and without merit as others continue to point out). I would say this is wasting everyone's time, but then again if you look up fantasy football forum in wikipedia I'm pretty sure "ginormous time wasting activity" is cited there several times.

Lastly, each of these notes bumps the thread back to the top of the list again. Oh, wait $&@!
