Swallow the whistle

It's crap. In nfl you can mug a guy on last play of game. Ain't that right 9er fan?

The real question is does Reid get severely out coached in the second half. It's a big lead but not out of reach by any means.

Edit why in the world wouldn't you try a 53 yd fg in that spot??

Out scored 35 - 6 after that early int.

I'll take Reid chokes for 200, Alex.

What did Reid do wrong? Not order bigger helmets and a better third rb?

Has a team ever lost a game scoring 44 points, getting 4 turnovers after being up by 28?

Historic choke.

Still in shock. I don't even care that I bet on KC with no spread, this was just an epic fail/comeback.

You must have missed the consecutive timeouts, leading to KC having no timeouts with 2:00 left and thus allowing the Colts to simply kneel down to win the game.

Injuries were huge for sure, but Reid showed once again that he is an awful, awful

clock manager. I actually guffawed when he called that second timeout on fourth down.

Nfl is like NBA

Yep. Huge leads mean nothing. The nice thing is that just like the NBA I can tune in with about five minutes left in the game and see what I gotta see. Very convenient and takes none of my time. :)

No, but it is being systematically minimized by rule changes each year.

Mouth breathers love high scores.

Rule changes? Hmm.... Seems to me that KC went into an offensive shell and started doing swing passes, bubble screens, and other ineffective play calling. That's what I saw. Plus, why do defenses simply play eleven safeties once they have a lead? Nothing to do with rule changes. It's LOUSY play calling and getting too conservative. Period.

Next time the Pats or broncos run up the score maybe we can stop whining about stat padding when what they are actualy doing is securing the WIN.

A lead is as safe as you decide to make it.
