PlsWinByTwo 1 Posted September 30, 2014 He's had pretty productive numbers so far this season, but his struggles away from home are a concern, Atlanta's offensive line is really banged up and I'm thinking this may be a great time to sell him high. Anyone else?
JediMaster 20 Posted September 30, 2014 Nope. Keeping him. I'm not worried about his road games.
t-birdie 8 Posted September 30, 2014 My backup QB is Tom Brady, who I transition tagged and I'm stuck paying him a high salary all year. Since my high-priced backup isn't even worthy of being rostered, I won't be trading Ryan.
t-birdie 8 Posted September 30, 2014 If I had a backup QB who was vastly superior to Tom Brady with a lot more upside, like Jamarcus Russell, I might consider trading Ryan high.
Frozenbeernuts 1,838 Posted September 30, 2014 I would definitely consider trading him if the offer is solid. Maybe swap him for foles while their values are flipped and get a nice piece included in the deal.
PlsWinByTwo 1 Posted September 30, 2014 The sucky part about being in a "casual" league is that no one really looks to make any deals. It is a paid league but the "I'm just going to ride out my team for better or for worse" attitude, even with teams that are 1-3 or 0-4 is relatively consistent. Whereas I'm always trying to make improvements after every week, most of the owners in my league are complacent and some have already accepted defeat. So how do I spark "trade talk" with presumably uninspired or unmotivated owners?
GS3K 12 Posted September 30, 2014 Foles and Ryan both have shot offensive lines. It's like having a Ferrari on doughnuts.

I will probably get an offer of deangelo williams at best with owners being near insulted if i asked for anything of value.

PlsWinByTwo 1 Posted September 30, 2014 I'm thinking about going after Brees for him. Matt Ryan and Eddie Lacy for Drew Brees and Frank Gore. Lateral Move?

tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 30, 2014 Stay. Road woes are exaggerated a bit, they faced the bengals wich are a buzzsaw D. Vs juicy matchups on the road he can still light it up. Forget last year, go back to the year before if you want to compare game logs.
SLM827 4 Posted September 30, 2014 Ryan just had 25 Pts on the road in my 4 pt td league
Matt Mueller 146 Posted September 30, 2014 Look up Ryans home-roads splits from his best fantasy season in 2012. Much better road production.
