parrot 789 Posted September 30, 2014 I have 3 months of HBOGO after renegotiating my Direct TV contract and thought I would take in some HBO Series. I just got done watching the Sopranos. I've seen Band of Brothers, The Wire, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, and True Detective. What else would people recommend; BoardWalk Empire? OZ? Six Feet Under? Rome? It as a good show but no where near GOT or Sapranos If yuor going to watch 1 series you havent seen - Entourage is decent - though some here hate it ... Rome is pretty good as well. I loved entourage tho it kind of fell off near the end. i think Entourage ended really well but I agree, there was a season or a stretch of a season toward the end that just felt like repetitive nonsense with no impact on the story lines. i recently started re watching it though and the first 2 seasons were awesome. Every time I tried to get a male friend into the show, they would always say nahhh isn't that like sex in the city but for guys? im not watching that crap.... they were hooked by episode 3.
