Bobbyn2022 53 Posted October 12, 2016 His fumble issues and his ypc I want to sell bad. Plus he plays Denver this week. Em I crazy but I see all these rankings having Gordon super high vs denever like top 10.

Kent 228 Posted October 12, 2016 I'm close to offering Gordo for Gronk. I'm with you guys. Hard to fall in love with that ypc. It's bad.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 12, 2016 Maybe. Maybe not. I've shopped him but am not getting the value in return, or guys just don't want him. He's a hold for me I think.

werethemillers 3 Posted October 12, 2016 I got Ingram for Gordon last week when I saw he was starting to fall off and fumble again...
mgs316 14 Posted October 12, 2016 Denver's run D stinks (24th in yards per game, second to last in TD's allowed). Chargers literally have no one behind him. Plus he's not a big name, no one will give you value you for him. Â I see no value in moving him for pennies on the dollar.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 12, 2016 Who have you shopped him for? Top 15 WR's mainly.
MDC 6,754 Posted October 12, 2016 I'm sort of torn. Â The YPC is bad and the TD totals aren't sustainable. On the other hand, Gordon is the sole bellcow back on a good offense. He gets all the goal line carries and he's been worked into the passing game a little. Â There are just not that many RBs in his situation. I may bench him this week but I don't think he's going to yield much of a return on the trading block. He's been a big reason my team is 4-1 despite drafting several worse RBs in front of him. handbanana 47 Posted October 12, 2016 Yeah, sell one of the only 3-down RBs in the league. Have fun starting Duke Johnson and Bernard in the playoffs!
mcgruber 17 Posted October 12, 2016 i mean i hate the guy too but I'd say he's got a decent floor since he also gets work in the passing game to add stats to his 19 rushes for 32 yards. I think the problem is a lot of people that own him value him too much. He's a workhorse but he's an RB2 who has been putting up good numbers because of his TDs. If i'm looking for an RB2 i'd rather take my chances on somebody playing pretty explosive right now like tevin coleman.
GornFishin' 57 Posted October 12, 2016 If I were you, i'd be more worried about your complete inability to type literate sentences. Â And having such a gay name like Bobby. Â And being a whiny twerp.
Charger Fan22 0 Posted October 12, 2016 As mentioned above, he is a 3 down back and more importantly, he isn't losing the goal line snaps anymore to Woodhead. I think in his last 11 games (even with 2 of the next 3 against Denver) he could still go for 1000+ total yards and 8+ TDs. Â Regarding fumble issues, it's still his job. The Chargers have no one to replace him. Farrow is a UDFA and McCluster is a recent sign who doesn't have the size to be a full-time RB. Farrow steps in if Gordon gets hurt but he will never take Gordon's job. Â I'm high on Gordon but was offered ODB for him which I am going to take since I lost Keenan Allen and replaced him with T. Benjamin and now have S. Coates also. Â I have depth at RB (D. Johnson, Ingram, CJ Anderson, Crowell, T. Coleman) so I can afford to lose Gordon and picking up ODB is a big upgrade at WR. I'd rather give up CJ and Coleman instead of Gordon but I don't think the ODB owner takes it.

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 13, 2016 There is a guy in my league who is asking me for a trade. He is more interested in T Coleman than he is Gordon in a trade. Perception is reality I guess.

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 14, 2016 One good run tonight. Otherwise doodoo
mcgruber 17 Posted October 14, 2016 I don't know how you run for 48 yards on one carry and manage to still have a ypc of 3.5. Mccluster also looked pretty good catching the ball. If he starts to actually get the passing game work Gordon is in trouble. That was the only thing helping his floor.
Mr Neil 63 Posted October 14, 2016 Whisenhunt loves McCluster. I would sell Gordon like a hot ham sandwich if I owned him. People still might think he's a "3 down back" if you catch em by the end of the week with a trade

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 14, 2016 Every league has an owner desperate at RB. Deals can be made. I'm selling this week. Â I'm not willing to sell for so cheap. That's what it will take in my league. Guys are rolling with WR's in their flex spots and the minimum 2 RB's. If you're lucky enough to have a top guy producing consistently on your team, good for you. Most don't though. So it's harder now too in my league to buy WR's since most teams are starting 3 every week (Flex).
DrG 102 Posted October 14, 2016 Listened to game while on road. Announcers thought Gordon did well with small or often no room to run
Cretins 22 Posted October 15, 2016 Listened to game while on road. Announcers thought Gordon did well with small or often no room to run  I wouldn't disagree with that. I think he did well given the fact that there were constantly defenders across the line. The bigger concern for me is that the O line looked terrible on running plays. Gordon was constantly getting grabbed by defenders before hitting the line of scrimmage. Granted that it was against Denver, but I'd be more concerned about the O line shaping up than Gordon's own running.  I guess it's the same result either way, though. frank 2,246 Posted October 15, 2016 At least the last two weeks, he was constantly getting hit at or behind the line. Doesn't matter who's fault it is but he can't get points that way. They need to run sweeps or screens. Something to get him outside or in space.
MDC 6,754 Posted October 15, 2016 Worst game of the year and he had 27 carries and 94 yards. I'll take it.
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted October 16, 2016 Still getting over 90 yards with no turnover was not a terrible result. 3.5 per carry
Kent 228 Posted October 16, 2016 Still getting over 90 yards with no turnover was not a terrible result. 3.5 per carry He just doesn't pass the eye test. Something is just not there. He's the biggest sell high guy I think I've ever owned.
Phil Simms 11 133 Posted October 16, 2016 I am looking at trades as well but I have Gurley, Freeman, C-Mike and don't always start Gordon (like this week). The thing is RB is so fragile I may just keep him for insurance and play matchups. Â The thing I like most about Gordon is that the offense can put up points and I believe he will continue to get scoring opportunities.

n_omarley 11 Posted October 16, 2016 I traded for Gordon this week. Of course it has more to do with my roster than anything, but I traded Cooks for him.
vuduchile 1,945 Posted October 24, 2016 I was able to see him play a bit today. he's all over the board really. Â He seems to lack vision on one play, then makes something out of nothing on the next. And, that O line isn't helping him much. Â People say the TDs aren't sustainable and I would usually agree. But, maybe this guy really is the biggest red zone threat in the league right now. The opportunities are there, and he delivers consistently. Â I doubt I could get a top tier WR in trade, so he'll stay in my flex spot for now.
MDC 6,754 Posted October 24, 2016 I said it before: he gets 25+ touches and all the goal line carries on one of the better offenses in the league. Until that changes he's a RB1.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 24, 2016 Guess I'll just have to keep rolling him out there since no one wants to trade me for him. Poor me. It's rough
Kent 228 Posted October 24, 2016 I think we may all just be hopelessly scarred by last season. Clearly with no Woodhead he's untradeable and you just roll with him.
