Loaded Box 5 Posted November 22, 2016 I'm in my "win-now" mode in the one keeper league I'm in. About 3-4 years ago I realized I wasn't going to make the playoffs so I made a couple of deals to set myself up for the future. I proceeded to get third two years ago, second last year (lost by a half point in championship game!), and I'll make the playoffs again this year and lead that league in fantasy points scored. But I totally understand the theory behind "tanking" to set yourself up for future years. I'm just glad a couple of other guys in the league don't utilize that strategy as they've been stuck in mediocrity for years now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

joeshushu 51 Posted November 23, 2016 I am definitely on the bubble in a PPR redraft money league. I lost AJ Green this past week and that killed my chance of winning and clinching a playoff spot. I need a win in one of the last two games or help backing into the playoffs as a low seed. With other teams starting to tank thus not caring about line ups, I really can't rely on help(I play other teams fighting for spots) I need a win! It will be difficult replacing a Green so I need some lucky bigger games from lower tier WRs. I will probably still make playoffs but I am hoping AJ gets healthy mid December. As far as OP, we have a playoff for teams who didn't make playoffs to determine the following years draft order.
